help w/ skates easton or bauer

for my son...just starting out who's 9yrs old

junior size... wide foot


was told that that the best current skate for him to get is the supreme one40.......$85.oo

i also saw that i can buy new old stock.

easton ultra lites 2004 for $50.oo

easton synthesis 2004 $70.oo

and

easton z-air 2003..$80
easton pro gold...$70

i haven't been able to find out much about the synthesis skates, but it seems like the low end ultra lites were given good reviews that i've found

and these mid decade eastons were the best made by them

thoughts?

i am not a jr but i have the pumps wide and they are so comfortable and nice i love them i would try to look at those too...

For a 9 year old, especially just starting, the most important thing about skates counts for double. Whatever fits best. If his feet hurt, it won't be fun. If it's not fun, he won't play.

If the One40s fit best, go get them. He's going to grow out of them after a season or so anyhow.
