Yeah the pink for the month and then it'll probably revert back to white, not bad, not great but not bad. I still think the centennial is my favorite

Love the idea of the mask.

He will wear it for October, then it will be auctioned off. In case anyone uses the "HE CHANGES HIS EQUIPMENT TOO MUCH!!" line.

Awards:
The mask looks great, and good on him for going the breast cancer awareness route.

Price is great for charities, not the first time he has done this type of thing.

The mask itself is very cool, would like to see a hab colour version of it full time.

Being of native descent myself, can't say enough how awesome it looks. Hope he'll keep it full time after by just changing the pink to another color.

That is awesome. The NFL has been wearing pink in October for years now, I hope this trend will spread through the NHL as well (pink gloves, skates, towels on bench, etc).

I know a couple of Leafs player had some pinkish skates last year, but that's all I saw.

Love the native design. Really dig anything that has to do with traditional native culture. Not a fan of the pink, but I understand the implications with breast cancer. But the design is really cool.

as long as he doesn't straight up put the Hawks logo on it! But yeah, nice to have the breast cancer thing going. I also love his centennial one, but really, whatever makes him happy - let him paint it. If it must be Justin Bieber, so be it. Rebecca Black, ok, but then I'm expecting a Cup and Vezina.

Love the native theme, really glad Price is embracing his first nations heritage like that. And of course you have to respect the breast cancer awareness focus, I hope the native theme comes back even after the month is over though.

He heard my plight of having a Indian Chief on his mask! Cool. Not too sure about the pink, though.

It's for breast cancer awareness, of course it'll be pink.

He's just going to wear it for this month and then have it auctioned off.

I wonder who the Blackhawks are trading us for Carey Price.

Not bad, shows his heritage and great that he will once again auction it off for charity.

From Elliotte Friedman's 30 Thoughts:

22) Apparently, Carey Price is waiting for matching pink pads before he uses his new pink mask. The mask (painted by David Arrigo) is available for auction at legendsdepot.com (bidding at $4,100 US as I write this). Proceeds go to support the fight against breast cancer.
23) It is rare for a goalie to change his equipment after a spectacular season, but Price did that this summer. The reason? He felt Reebok really listened to what he wanted.
