Reading the mainboard here is always so much fun whenever the Habs win and the haters come out.. It's almost as much fun as reading on this board when they lose..

My one comment is that he is a big big guy, yet he goes down really early, should learn to use his size like Price does.
So pumped from the win, I thought the Habs would get wrecked for the Jets' home opener. Couldn't have gone much better than it did tonight minus the ****ing injuries.
Price had a strong game, but Winnipeg had a lot of low percentage shots. He only had to be good, not great. I was pissed they allowed the Winnipeg goal, macLean should have been off for goaltender interference, it was quite blatant also. Also why the heck did we NOT get a PP on the blatant coss check on PK?
I thought Diaz Weber and Yemelin played well, though if Spacek is out long term I'd like to see us go get a guy like McCabe to add depth.
For anyone complaining about the refs, about 30 seconds before Bufs interference penalty, someone behind the Jets net was holding Gionta's stick, that one should've been called.

He made bunch of saves on tipped and screen shots. personally that's what made it a great night for him

Cole with the third least minutes played tonight for forwards... in front of A.Kost (9 sec. less) and Enqvist.
Cole got plenty of even strength time but he doesn't play a special team for Montreal so his ice time takes a hit in comparison. He's only here for the ES so it doesn't matter as much as people are saying.
Good game, I was really impressed by Weber/Emelin/Diaz and the rest of the defensemen were good as well. Emelin in particular impressed me: drew a couple penalties and didn't get out of position going for the big hit.
