Now, you'll get a bunch of Hab fans in here just crucifying this move.

But honestly, Traverse will be a good leader in Idaho (that's the new farm team right?) and will be a pretty good band-aid in the #6-7 D-man role if injuries rear their ugly head.

Not a bad pickup for, i'm guessing, cheap.

Iowa, not Idaho. And they don't begin play until 2005-2006, I don't think he'll be in the organization for more than just this season.

He'll add some depth for the Stars, not a whole lot more.

I'm very confused, at first it sounds like he's laughing because someone actually signed Traverse...then he breaks down into tears says OMG and shakes his head.

so I'm just going to assume he said "Depth"

Maybe you should learn french, he laughed at "Travesti" then said OMG for either noticing it's a bad joke or for a bad signing.

are you kidding? I have a hard enough time with English. I know some french, like "Hi, I can't speak french."

Wouldnt go that far....he'll be lucky if he sees any NHL time this season(assuming the CBA gets straightened out).....he's here to help fill our AHL obligation.

Really, I don't get it. Stars' D sucked last year, so I thought they would do something about it. And don't give me that depth-crap. Taverse=no depth. They have already a couple of good young D's, so they should sign a D who has respectable NHL numbers.

I say, get rid of the Stars' staff and replace them with the Habs'!!

From Therien to Traverse, lmao.

If this is not a AHL-move, I'd say this is a very bad signing.
