On Fri Ferland had a big game. He put up a hatty and added an assist.

Good to see Ferland doing well.

What I'm really happy with is Sven, and how he is doing. Does anyone on this board consistently watch Portland? I'd like to see if I can try to get more scouting reports on his progress down there. I'm also trying to go to the Hitmen game when portland comes, is anyone else going?

It's definitely good to see some of our picks getting noticed. Especially our later round picks.

Reinhart is off to a solid start as well (5gp, 4g + 2a for 6pts.) I'm a little disappointed in Holland's start though (7gp, 0g + 5a for 5pts.) I mean, 5 points in 7 games is a decent start, but he's entering his 3rd full season in the WHL and is (as far as I can tell) a goalscoring winger without a goal. He's also 6th on team scoring in Tri-City. I know it's early, and it's a small sample size, but I had high hopes for Holland this season, and I expected him to start strong and play his way onto Team Canada. Hopefully he picks it up a bit soon.

Don't forget the guy in your forum title.

It is good to see, though. Barring some crazy cup run antics from the big guys, I think I might find the AHL/Junior prospects more interesting to follow this year than the NHL team.

No one ever said the Flames don't have any propsects, it's just that their prospect depth is less than most teams.

But improving.

That's insane, even the worst team in terms of prospects has some.

We rank about 25 out of 30 teasm, but that's an improvement.

Our last draft was rated excellent.
