No, I don't think your the only one. If he doesnt walk people he's a great pitcher. That's a big IF. I think he had a very good start last year. He has shown that he has the stuff and that he can get the job done and since it's a new season I'm not that uneasy today.

Dodgers win 5-1...Beltre hit a 2-run Home Run!!! I think he thinks it's August, lol. Works for me! Hopefully he keeps this up. This could be his year. *fingers crossed*

They're scoring some runs!

Hell Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't believe the shot in regulation to send it to the first OT. That was just an impossible shot. Then the 2nd OT shot was just awesome. Great shot, he had a nice look at it.

I thought it was over after that Stoudamire layup near the end. What a breakdown in defense. Kobe came through. Can you say "CLUTCH"????

...

Slava had a huge game and so did Shaq. Did anyone see how much he was sweating at one point? That dunk he had over Ratliff was sick. Oh yeah and that Kobe guy had a good game too.

Hope Malone is ok. Sprained ankles are brutal...

Dodgers won tonight! 7-5. Gagne got his 65th save in a row! 2 this season.

Am I dreaming? Are they really scoring these runs? Is this real? 11 Runs last night, 7 Runs tonight???? WOW. They never have luck against the Padres... I guess they like Petco Park!

Record: 6-3

7 RUNS!

the Dodgers are about to sweep Bonds! He alone has scored or driven in 5 of the 6 runs today. Amazing. Why do we pitch to him? I dont like Weaver anymore.

I don't know either. If a guy has an OPS of 1.001 or better, statistically you can walk him every at bat and be better off. Currently, Bonds has an OPS of 1.6??, so when he's running hot like he is now, just walk him every time in every situation except for bases-loaded with the tying or winning run on 3rd.

Dodgers beat the Giants tonight 5-4. It took 12 innings... Bradley singled Izturis home who was on second base.

Dreifort gets the win. He pitched a solid two innings. Looked very good, hopefully he continues this and stays healthy all year. (knock on wood). Gagne also pitched two innings and looked great as usual. Perez had a shaky start but eventually got through it I guess. He didn't look like the same guy that shutout the Giants for 8 innings in SF.

Green hit a two-run home run to tie the game up at 4 a piece. Dodgers were trailing 4-2 before that homer.

Dodgers' record: 11-5 (first in NL West)

Lakers beat the Rockets today as well... in OT. Malone had a great game and Kobe once again was clutch. Lakers up 3-1 in the series against Houston. They can wrap it up at Staples.

Lakers advance. They eliminated the Rockets tonight @ Staples. They will now meet the San Antonio Spurs.... oh boy.

Dodgers also won tonight!! 3-2 over the Mets. Gagne got #69 ... 6th save this season. Dave Roberts hit a 2-run home run and Beltre's solo shot proved to be the winning run.

Dodgers' record: 13-7 (first in NL West)

Lets Go Spurs!!

2 Years in a row they will be my favorite team in the NBA, that distinction goes to whatever club knocks off the Lakers.

Go Spurs!!
