I did giggle at the thought of doing a Pete tie theme. Everyone gets Pete with a different tie!!!!
There has been no grand theme all season. Potato is so random and came from one person and a troll to boot that nobody would get it. Shootouts is lame too and has no graphical tie-in. I tried a poltergeist we're back and that too was weak at best and had little relevance after only one year missed.
I have tried and even recruited Slocal to help brainstorm and we got nothing outside the same lame NJ references everyone makes like jersey shore and the boss.
Rather than force a bad pun I'm making something sharp and can still work player puns into the graphics over the image instead of their name. If someone else wants to make playoff avatars by all means go ahead, I never claimed to be the only source of HF Devils branding for this board.
My current avy looks to be the final version with animated versions for sponsors and static for non due to size limits.
Animated banners may also be in the works if I have time.

I forgot to throw in Boardwalk empire but with that not even currently on, that too seems a bit of a reach. The other ideas were from other folks - you are just the name drop they would recognize.
