I'm pretty nervous about this one. The Blues are a very deep and balanced team especially at forward and I don't know that the Stars match up all that well with them. The biggest thing standing between their current lineup and being a really good team is the lack of a legit star player, but I doubt that stops them from putting up a ton of goals this year.

I'll be happy with a really ugly game this time around. Come on Dallas!

Goligoski-Fistric
Souray-Robidas
Grossman-Daley

Were D pairs at practice.

That's... better, I think.

Would rather see Grossman and Gogo but Gogo-Fistric is sufficient...

That better be written the wrong way or else Fistric is back on his fail side.

Wandell being scratched and Barch and Petersen playing is ****ing stupid. Don't make me hate you Gulutzan.

Really Larsen should be playing over Fistric too with the state the PP is in.

We don't really have a "1st line". We have 3 pretty equal scoring lines that will all come at you in bunches.

The difference between being on the 1st or 2nd line means nothing. It's all about chemistry with the Blues, and Langenbrunner has been playing well actually and has chemistry with those two while our entire second line has chemistry with each other.

Plus, as someone else pointed out, Perron is still sidelined.

Because he's been useless the past couple games? I can't imagine Petersen being any less useless than him.

Petersen-Dowell-Barch

That's not very confidence instilling, but still. Just gotta stay outta the box.

He has barely played... what is he supposed to do?

This whole 4-line team concept thing is turning out to be lip service.

Yeah I have no idea. As long as Ott doesn't have to play 24 minutes again...

St. Louis always plays us tough. Just a glimpse of ability to make a breakout pass would make me happy but I still haven't seen that quality in this team.

3-1 St. Louis

Kari is 6-1-0 with 1.69 and 0.944SV% against St.Louis in his career. The guys know they have to step it up tonight after their poor performance vs Phoenix. Changes made in d-pairings look promising.

Stars will win.

I hope Chris Stewart will have a bad night.

Great Power forward, who can always score one or two goals.

Just woke up from a good one hour nap and I can't be anymore pumped for this game tonight. I got a really good feeling Benn and Loui will dominate tonight and it won't be a goalies game.

I predict 8 goals will be scored between the two teams tonight. 5-3 Stars

I have an extremely hard time believing Kari won't be spectular tonight. He's had too good of an off season, too good of a preseason, and too good of a start this season for me to think other wise.

Halak, however, has looked awful.

Good to see Grossman back in the lineup, but I think Kari will have to continue more of his spectacular goaltending if we want to win tonight......which he will.
