Who should I start on D, Packers or Bills?

Also on flex position, Peyton Hillis or Darrius Heyward-Bey?

Definitely Green Bay. For your flex, I'd probably still go Hillis. I know he's a drama queen and there's always a chance his touches could be cut, but I don't know if I'm willing to buy 3 straight solid games for DHB.

Now one of my own:

Robert Meachem or David Nelson?

Jordy Nelson (STL) vs. David Nelson (@NYG) vs. DeAngelo Williams (@ATL) for my Flex. Also have Benson, so Williams might play anyway.

I'm tempted to go David Nelson after Baldwin's big day last week and Donald Jones's injury

Heyward Bey or Antonio Brown? There's absolutely nothing on the waiver wire right now, so I'm stuck with one of them. Figure DHB is the better play.

Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco? My ability to choose wrong every time this season is crazy. Ryan's got Carolina, Flacco has Houston, so both have pretty good matchups.

In league #2: Lance Moore or Deion Branch?

Packers and Hillis.

The Saints' receivers tend to be inconsistent, but Nelson seems to be coming back down to reality (only 2 targets last week). I'd go Meachem.

As I mentioned, looks like Nelson's falling, and while Jordy's inconsistent I'd give him the slight edge here. That being said I'd start DWill and Benson over both of them.

Bills D has been scoring a ton this year, I think you gotta roll with them.

Everyone's high on Little, but I wanna at least see it once before I start buying into it. I'd go Meachem.

The Jones injury certainly makes things interesting. On one hand, Nelson might get more looks. On the other hand, without Jones to spread the field Nelson may not get open as much since he works out of the slot (and the Bills don't have any other real deep threats). Nelson does stand a good chance at getting a TD or so since he's a big target and Buffalo's red zone offense is on fire (75% TD, highest in the league).

I agree, there's been a lot of hype surrounding Little but not much in the way of actual production. Meachem here.

Ugh, don't even ask how I ended up in this situation, but who would you plug n' play off the waiver wire this week:

Alex Smith vs. DET
Andy Dalton vs. IND

I think I might throw up a little.

I see SF getting a reality check this week. I'd go Dalton. I think he's the better of the two and he has the better matchup. You could counter that SF will likely be behind and thus Smith will have to throw a lot, but that's not enough to give him the nod IMO.

In CLE's last game he showed signs of promise with 6-57 and Shurmur said he has leap frogged Robiske and Massaquoi on the DC for the #1 WR job.

With Torain back in the mix you gotta go Stewart.

Holmes has been pretty disappointing, I think you gotta go Felix and Starks.

I did not know that, thanks for the info.

That said, I still want to see a breakout game before I'll start recommending him.

This could be the week Holmes gets back on track. I'd probably go him for the flex and Felix for RB2. Starks...I just don't know how you can count on either GB running back. Every week it seems like one plays well and the other doesn't, but who does what is impossible to predict.

Would you drop Philly's defense?

I just picked up Cincinnati's defense for McCluster, who's on his bye week, as a backup since Philly's bye is next week. The Eagles look like a complete mess atm but I think they'll get it together down the road... that's why I don't want to give up on them right away.

Good move?

Edit: Someone dropped Mike Williams for whatever reason... I placed a 60$ bet on his ass. He'll turn his game around IMO. He's just have a rough start to the season. I don't see his production staying the same for the remainder of the schedule. I hope I get him since I have AJ on the shelf with a knocked up VJax and Maclin isn't at 100%.

I agree on Mike Williams turning it around but $60 is an awful lot. Have to imagine you could get him for less.

I haven't spent a dime up until now. We roll with a 100$ per team for the entire year. I doubt we'll see anyone better on the waiver wire then Williams IMO during the entire year, so dishing to kind of money for his services might be what brings me the title once everyone get's back from injury.

- I have Schaub as my starting QB.
- I have AJ, VJax and Maclin as my starting WR'ers.
- I have Mendenhall and S. Jackson as my starting backs.
- I have Jimmy Graham as my starting TE.
- I have Matt Bryant as my kicker
- I have Philly as my defense and just picked up Cincinnati as a 2nd option.

Bench: Freeman, Starks, D. Thomas, P. Thomas, Meachem and Ward.

If I can land WR1/WR2 from the waiver wire, I'm going all in.

Edit: I dropped my bid to 45$ but if I lose out on the guy... I'm coming after you

I dropped Philly's defense for Dallas earlier in the week. I have New Orleans as my other defense. Philly was costing me points.

ha, fair enough. $60 is just a lot for a guy who wouldn't play over any of the other WRs you have, if they're all healthy. 45-50 is probably what I would do. Then again, if you think $60 will help win you a championship I'm not sure that would be considered overpaying.

I wouldn't worry about dropping them. They've done nothing this year. Someone just dropped them in my league. I'm just gonna keep an eye on them and if they pick it up I'll grab them. No point in rostering a Defense that should've been better.

It's probably too late but I'd spend some of that $45 on Tebow if I were you. Schaub's the only hole on your roster. I wouldn't be terribly confident with Mendenhall and SJax so I'd probably try to add the RB flavor of the week for a few bucks and see if I got lucky (A guy like Battle this week). And I can't really comment specifically about your league, but we also use $100 for free agents for the year and there's no way Mike Williams would go for more than $25 in our league. $60 would be a huge overbid IMO. Guys get picked up pretty quick in our league but no one's gone for more than $27. You look at Williams' game log last year and it puts his fantasy numbers in perspective. Sure he had 11 TDs, but he only had one hundred yard game all year. He just doesn't strike me as an elite WR. I think the 11 TDs were more of a fluke than anything else. As a Mike Williams owner I've been watching him kill me all year though, so perhaps I'm biased.

Yeah, I changed my bid to 45$. I guess I was so shocked when I saw him on the waiver wire, I went a little crazy.

Tebow? I rather cross my fingers on Freeman... and Williams
