Francona and Epstein are gone. The media is ripping apart Beckett and they want him gone. Ortiz is talking up the Yankees as he enters free agency.

The city is not taking this collapse well. They're really overcomplicating things. It was a crappy month. It was not a crappy team. Not sure why they don't realize that.

It's an overreaction to a historic collapse. Not terribly surprising.

Beckett eats fried chicken and drinks beer in the clubhouse during games he is not pitching, which apparently is a bad thing.

I honestly have no idea. Wasn't he Cy Young caliber for much of the year?

I would love Ortiz on the Yankees give Montero either a year or a few and to develop a tad more and then insert him Ortiz DH for us would be a lethal addition to the lineup with Posada likely leaving.

Would love to sign CJ Wilson in offseason if we can somehow outbid Texas.

Wade Boggs ate chicken all the time. Beer in the clubhouse isn't exactly uncommon.

He also was the ALCS MVP in 2007. Yea he seems like an intense hot head, but he doesn't seem like a bad guy at all.

Watch out for CWE, er I mean ZBC. He thinks Wilson is just a left handed Burnett. I'm not as convinced, but I definitely see the potential for suck in him as well. I say sign him if he comes relatively cheap. He's not worth ace type money. I think he should get paid like a good number 3 starter. Roughly $10-12M

Rangers blew out Detroit last night

St Louis could clinch with a win tonight to face the Rangers in the WS

I'm hoping the Rangers win the WS for the guy who fell out of the stands and passed away

Would truly be awesome for the guys son given everything he has probably been through

Is it just me or does Prince Fielder look like a fat Johnny Oduya?

Texas vs St. Louis. How many people in Boston/Philly pick that matchup?

Josh Hamilton is a class act. The Cards are my favorite NL team, but he deserves a ring.

It's amazing to see how much he was able to turn his life around.

Jon Lester should of went into the presser, put on a leather vest, took the mic out of the stand and then start pacing giving reporters the death stare...

then said "I beat Cancer so **** off *****es...oh and im our best pitcher, so **** you if I can't drink beer when I'm off"

Then walk over to Dan Shaughnessy give him the stunner, As he is on the ground seizuring get in his face and talk **** while giving him TWO middle fingers then proceed to stand on the podium and have some one throw him 2 cans of beer and begin to chug much like the following

then walk off to Break Glass

#Winning
