Also, tonights the game they're honoring Lokomotiv, so I'd find it REALLY hard to keep Geno off the ice tonight.

I hate to say it boys...even though I have a lot of faith in our guys...this may be loss #1. No Crosby, Malkin, or Fleury...its too much. Staal, Neal, Victory aren't gonna be enough to bridge the talent gap.

It should be fun though! Its gonna come down to our defense stopping their offense and our our offense getting 1-2 past them. I'm predicting 4-0, 4-1 Caps.

Sounds pretty typical for any major surgery. Even with modern advances in techinque, there's a lot of cutting that goes on for these sorts of things.

To give a couple of personal, anecdotal examples, my shoulder (plate put in to stabilize a shattered clavicle I received in judo) is still incredibly sensitive around the scar, and I had the surgery three years ago. For the first couple months after it was healed up, someone bumping into it during practice or even on the street left me in agony.

My leg (another plate) was the same way, and still flares up every once in a while after 7 years. You just learn to deal with it, but as with most major surgeries, it's going to be painful at first. Geno's going to be fine, I think.

I'm not too cool for it I just don't get it.

True story, I was on a date with a pageant model and it was going well into she said she was crazy about Harry Potter and I said it sucked. The second date didn't happen.

I'm watching the Cap broadcast pre-game and they said they don't think he will play.

If you don't know Harry Potter well enough to get jokes about his scar hurting, how do you know that it sucks?

I don't. Like I said I just don't get it. I have watched 10 minutes of one and it didn't seem like something I would like.

I'll drink to this. Even almost 8 years after my surgeries, every Spring like clockwork my femurs give me issues. I could probably sit on a porch with a bunch of old men with war stories and help predict the weather.

Anyway, on game topic, should be interesting. Hope the Pens get more than one goal cause lord knows we'll be Knubled at least once.

Why you even watched 10 minutes of it then? You obviously don't like movies/books of that genre if you can say after 10 whole minutes it SUCKS boo

This coming from a huge Potter-fan lol, mostly books though

BJ is probably better than half the starting goalies in the league (alright I might be over the top there, but he is very good) and when he is in the cage I never have any fears that he is going to be a sieve.

Geno really wants to play in this game and I think it would be good for him to just play maybe 15 minutes or so, maybe on the PP and early in periods.

Harry Potter fans on the internet are some of the most rabid people.

Anyways on the Caps broadcast they are complaining about injuries. They are upset because Neuvirth is injured.
