This likely means nothing, but it's funny nonetheless. Clemson TE Dwayne Allen on weather to stay at Clemson or enter the NFL Draft:

No, no. That’s why I’m going to take some days off to really get away from this feeling and to think things through, the pros and cons. I’m happy to say that the one thing that’s not going to go in my decision is money. Being at Clemson I have more money, more resources than I’ve ever had in my whole life.
Horrible choice of words.

Someone pissed him off on the coaching staff or something, he's just saying whatever he has to say to get that guy back then leaving to be a 1st round draft pick. He loses nothing, there's no reason not to.

I like the Saints... A lot...

But Drew Brees definetley loses some karma points for trying to run up the score for some reason like that.

Brees just does what he's told. We know the Lions can score quickly so I don't blame the Saints for wanting to put as much distance between them as they could.

But I can't stand this new Saints team. Aside from Brees and Kasay, they have a very unlikable bunch. I don't know why they decided to be complete ********** in that first Panthers game, but I went from kinda liking them to absolutely hating them and cheering for an early exit.

I think the 49ers can beat them. 24-23.

That's when u control the ball and run out the clock, not throw hail mary's in the endzone when you're up by 17 with 2 and half minutes left.

I get the feeling he wanted Bernie Kosar's playoff passing record. Came up 23 yards short tho. Kinda selfish if true, but that's the only thing that makes sense. Sproles was running all over the place so no need to risk stopping the clock so often with 40 yard post routes.

If you're referring to Meachem's catch that was an absolutely BLOWN coverage. In that situation, it's EASIER to gain 40 yards through the air than 2 yards on the ground.

I never really understood people getting upset about that kind of thing. They play to win the game. If they want to keep passing the ball, stop them. That's your job. As far as the Saints are concerned, they can run any game plan they want. Marion Barber fumbled against the Broncos earlier in the year while trying to run out the clock, so it's not like that course of action is inherently better.

If they want to risk stopping the clock, they can. I'm sure the Lions would prefer it to be honest.

I'm not going to say I told you so... but I told you so.

Edit- Dammit Brock Anton, I wanted to be the only one who picked Denver.

I cannot believe this Pitt-Den game. I mean Holy moly.

All home wins so far this wild-card, Denver's looking to continue that trend.

So why is Tebow getting credit for a player that was 90% the Broncos receiver? He went 10 for 21, and the game-winning pass was 60 YAC

31 yards per pass is not to be discounted.

Removing the Yards after Catch, it's closer to 15 yards per pass. Good for the Broncos for getting the win, but the QB completing less than 50% of his passes and watching his receivers make something out of nothing shouldn't be getting the press.

It can be with Ryan Clark, Casey Hampton, and Brett Keisel all out. The Steelers D had several key parts out. Broncos fans shouldn't be patting themselves too hard on the backs.

Tom Brady led the NFL with an un-adjusted (keeping the YAC included) yards per pass of 9.2. I'm sure Tebow will be fine with his 15 yards per pass, removing the YAC.
