- Kings is the most popular here... In the name of the main street crossing the entire city. I would also refer to the nickname of Sherbrooke "La reine des cantons de l'est". Since we won't call us the Queens, the Kings might be OK.
- Academics refer to all students living in the city. Sherbrooke is a student's city. About 20% of the population are students. Both University have a pretty good reputation.
- Castors... They already left 2 times under that name. It means failure. They have to change for a new name and never look back in the past.

What happens to teams named the Kings? That's right, rival team fan bases start calling you the Queens.
I would think it would have to be Les Castors. Not only is it the only good name in that poll, it's a good name for history's sake. I don't associate it with failure.
Anyway, I look forward to coming to Sherbrooke some time for an Olympiques game!
Not even a debate, what's sad though is that they talk about bringing in new colors. I really liked the dark blue + orange, and the whole old jersey. One of the nicest in the league with the Sags/Remparts.
Some of those are ****ing BAD. Appalachians, Kings, Royals, ACADEMICS (UGH WOW) ...I don't like Castors either, but there's some history there. I like Phenix even if it is a bit random.
My friend worked on the logo, made 5 alternates logo, already printing tshirts, jerseys, sent logos to QMJHL, etc... He couldn't tell me what is the final name nor show me the logo because it is confidential, but Thibault should unveil all this in 2 weeks!
