1: How do you get limited edition cards?
I started out with one but sold him when his stats went down to 20, from what I've gathered that was insanely stupid.
2: Are you supposed to try and get players from the same team, or what is the deal with this game? What is the goal?
1. Limited edition cards come from the packs you buy, but they are rare. You can renew limited edition players contract with contract card.
2. There is lot of goals. To get best possible team, be better than the friends you play it with, collect cards from each team to get better team, complete achievements and stuff... There is no end boss or closing credits of some sort... You just play until you don't wanna play anymore, you can always improve.
Great. I'm out of contracts and taylor Pyatt expired. I'll have to keep him until i can buy a 3 star pack again, which won't be for awhile. (I have 25k coins) Konopka expires in 4 days so i need a lw and centre.
EDIT i got a contract so in 4 days need replacements for those 2

I have a limited addition Saku Koivu, and then got a regular one in a pack. So he's anchoring my third and fourth lines, pretty cool. I have zero friends playing this game, so everything is taking forever. Still fun though.
I had a nasty team in DH, but it just got old. Costs too much to get players trained up all the way. I had Kurri, Gretzky, Richard as my bottom line.
This, plus in advanced levels, you start seeing the same players in each draft if you don't advance to the next level, which means you end up having to choose between drafting less skilled players or having a team with 3 Babe Pratts on defense.
I poke my head in on DH here and there, but my team lags behind most others on the same level.
