If we lose this game, can we really justify our organization's path?

yo this is a stupid and childish thing to say, isn't funny to even the most juvenile of minds and isn't even true considering the reckless abandon with which hall thrusts his head into the shoulders of players, goons, goalies, boards and referees so you shouldn't say it

He almost got it last time, so I am once again calling a Hodgson hat-trick if he goes head-to-head with Ryan Mary-Poppins.

We are going to lose as the October doldrums continue. Oilers fans are going to claim they are cup contenders after tonight.

Oilers fans will think they're the better team if they win, or lose by 3 goals or less... That's just the way it is.

Need to bear down, have a good road game, and put the Oilers in their place...

Great teams don't lose 3 games in a row. Yes we're sloppy and without Kesler but Penguins of 2011 did pretty damn well without Malkin and Crosby. This is a must win against a divisional rival.

Just want Cody and the Sedins to put up lots of points.

I'm still laughing at the Oilers fans trying to get huge overpayments for this guy this past offseason, saying that he isn't injury prone, he only had injury problems for the past 2 seasons.

I'm going with a 5-1 win for the good guys.

Against this Defence, the Nucks better score some goals.

Maybe 2 of these guys could crack any playoff team's top 6 group.

No, the one with the horrible defense is Edmonton's.

Edmonton's goalie tandem of Khabibulin and Dubnyk has played quite well to start the season, although it's only been a few games. They played a good Pittsburgh Penguins squad tough the other night and look to finally be improving after years of being just downright awful.

That said, this is a still a very young team with a not so good defense. The Canucks should be able to win this, but let's not all lose our integrity by mindlessly bashing the Oilers and acting like it will be armageddon should the Canucks lose.

I'm going to predict the Canucks take this 4-2. I think the PP will click and the 4th line will get a garbage goal. However, I think they'll struggle with the speed and skill of the young Oilers throughout the game.

EDM goals:

Eberle
Paajarvi

VAN goals:

Burrows 2 (1 ES, 1 EN)
D. Sedin (PP)
Sturm
