RT @TramyersCSN Hossa a game-time decision Upper body injury that Q said is "short term." Stalberg "could" play. Crawford starts #Blackhawks

Having Hossa tonight would be very nice.

According to Joel Quenneville, Marian Hossa, Viktor Stalberg and John Scott all "could play" for #Blackhawks vs. Bruins. So, there's that.
I'd imagine we'd see Scott in the lineup versus a very physical Bruins team.

I'll bet on Scott and Olesz in the line-up. Vic and Hoss out.

Ugh, Hossa has been arguably our best player so far. Having him out is a kick to the crotch for sure. But I'd rather have him miss one and get healthy than aggravate something small and pay for it later in the season.

Fireworks may happen tonight. Someone on the Hawks chirped Thornton after he got severely sliced last year so I'm expecting something to happen.

No McQuaid, No Krejci. Hopefully they get their heads out of their collective butts and play Bruins Hockey.

It was Troy Brouwer of the Washington Capitals.

It's Kane by a country mile as good as Hossa has been.

Kane was quoted in either the Trib or Suntimes today saying that the person who said it is no longer on the team, so this would make sense.

John Scott made some comments afterwards so either him or Carcillo could end up fighting if there is even any.

Scott's comments today or yesterday in the papers was that he hasn't given all that stuff a second thought. Said he's forgotten about it and it was heated at the time but he has no bad blood as far as he's concerned. Who knows, this is a lot of back and forth for a whole lot of nothing, really. Doubt anything out of the normal realm of a hockey game will happen. Especially if, in fact, the "chirper' is no longer even on the team. What happens happens.

And who is Kane going to dish the puck to and create offense with on the 2nd line? Carcillo?

Kane's been great but he needs a guy like Hossa and Toews to do the dirty work.

I'd be shocked if Carcillo and Thornton don't fight tonight.

I gotcha. We shall see. Going to be a good one. Can't wait to see Seguin go against Kane and Towes. If he can handle himself well with those two then he has arrived.

If Hoss is out there's gotta be a line shakeup.

Olesz - Toews - Kane
Carcillo - Sharp - Stalberg
Bickell - Bolland - Frolik
Mayers - Kruger - Scott

Q should at least try Olesz-Toews-Stalberg, as they had some good chemistry during preseason. That leaves a second line of Carcillo-Kane-Sharp to try and shut down.

Hossa better play. Can't ruin this good start. I know it was Winnerpig last game but the team has had a juggernaut feel about it right out the gate.

Stalberg, Hossa scratched.

Not much a shakeup after all.
