They should give the goal to Taylor Hall so RNH can get on the assist board.

RNH 4 goals in his first 3 games, but 0 assists ... what a slacker in the passing department

The Oil are one of the most interesting teams in some time. Will they continue to dwell in the dark places, or will all that frickin' awesome young talent turn them into something? They still have virtually no way to keep the other team from scoring, but those are some promising young forwards.

Yea but not worth Seguin and Hamilton..

Oh wait, this is about a different player? I wondered why the majority of comments were positive..

You guys have a great future and perhaps a very good present based on what i saw tonight. I've always had a soft spot for the Islanders, both the Islanders and Oilers have been basically mirror images of each other over the years.
Here's to future Isles-Oilers Stanley Cup final matchups.

Pretty sure his 3rd will go to Hall before the night's over, but heck of a game nonetheless.

edit - very entertaining game so far, too. Both teams are fun to watch.

I was there! What a run! If we could revive those battles, it will be a great ride! Hoping it happens.

And for all of those who were talking about Hall diving...Hansen stuck out the leg.

Oh yeah. Nugent Hopkins is a beast of a player. Just a beast.

Hey, good for you. I know you don't like the Oilers, so nice to see you aren't just mindlessly trolling.

Hansen did stick out his leg, split decision move, but that is the most dangerous type of trip...

Is that a hatty or Hall scored the last? I'm sure Hall would have no problem giving it to him if he could.

I agree

because if I don't, apparently my post will be deleted like the 3 previous posters who disagreed with this statement

We are at peace with "October Canucks." Still shocked at NHL reffing though.

Every offensive post in this topic from here on out is an infraction and thread ban.

If you have something to say about the fanbases involved in this game, keep it to yourself.

Laser pointer = one dumb fan
50-100 Hats = lots of dumb fans

(just so other fans know the Oiler fans did NOT throw hats on after the hat-trick, and they did NOT wait for a whistle. The second the Sedins moved into the Oilers zone after the Oilers 3rd goal the fans flooded the Oilers end with hats)

Yes, yes, Kessel had a good night, no need to troll threads about other players who had good nights too.

To be fair, no one knew RNH scored until they announced it and that's when he was getting a standin-O and they started throwing hats on the ice...

I'm not too angry about it to be honest, because if that was a canucks phenom rookie who just did that and I was at the game, I probably would be one of those fans throwing the hats...
