Full 82 Game TV Contract Beginning in 2013-14

http://hurricanes.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=624788

Every game will be locally televised, beginning in 13/14. So only one more year of the random blackouts.

Not showing a random home game here and there is one thing, there's no excuse for having untelevised road games though.

Somehow the FB crowd still can't grasp the "EVERY GAME WILL BE TELEVISED" concept of the article.

IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME.

I've long wondered why this hasn't been the case before now. Finally!

I know, and indeed it shall. It's just too hard to resist saying, "why u no like joni pitkanen?"

I'm frankly overjoyed that we no longer (after next season) have a bush league TV contract.

ONE MORE YEAR.
I'm happy they are doing it, but it should have happened a while ago.

For a city that didn't have running water and electricity until 1995, it's understandable that they would take some time to figure out how to work them TV network thangs.

Hurrah.

How many other teams don't have all of their games televised?

The panthers obviously since they've had games this year with no tv anywhere. I think the preds.. My preds fan buddy has complained about college basketball being on while the preds were playing.

If only there were a GIF of King Zora "scootching" out of the way of the passage to get to Jabu Jabu. My life would be made.
