Did Malkin come back too soon? I mean, I can understand the odd missed game and maintenance days, but if he's missing this trip that'll be 5 games out of 8 he's missed this year, including 3 in a row and 5 out of the last 6 (with the Lokomotiv game being the only one he played). That seems a bit concerning.
We SHOULD be able to win this game. Depending on if they really feel like putting forth the effort and if Malkin isn't still upset about his knee boo-boo. Although I must say, I didn't think we played that badly in the Washington game, If we can play the way we played that night, well win against most teams.
If the Pens lose I know who to blame for jinxing them, Mr. I-Have-A-Jets-Avatar!
I'm still pulling for Pittsburgh, haha.
I think a lot of people here will be impressed by Scheifele. He needs to gain some muscle (and get in another year of junior), but he's always the smartest offensive player on the ice for the Jets, even now.

****....malkin definetly shouldn't have comeback for that damn game vs Washington. Whoever allowed that to happen should be fired.
Soreness is something that is up to him to make the decision to play. Maybe it's a bit more swollen now and the team doctor is telling him to sit out a few games.

I'm a little bit more confident we can grind these two out with out them. I knew it was going to be hard to beat Buffalo but if we play two good road games we can get three maybe four points out this trip. At least I hope.
Are we ever allowed to see this team play with a healthy roster again? The way this team has been annihilated with injuries to core players for a calendar year is ****ing infuriating.
Better for the injury bug to occur now than later in the season.
I really hate this argument. People say it all the time but it makes zero sense. It's not as if there's a quota of injuries each team goes through and once you hit that, you are done. Hell, people were saying this back last January. The injuries never stopped and have continued into this season.

It just feels like it's really hard to get up for any of these games without our top players playing. I'm still going to watch, because I love the Pens and hockey, but it's really starting to get to me. I just have this sort of "eh whatever" attitude.

I paid scalper prices to see them play in Edmonton ...

Stop the madness.
