My point is that the Habs' problems are deeper than something Markov alone could fix.

Phew. Not broken.

Wrist ligaments is still serious depending which one is torn. 1-2 weeks is still much better than 1-2 months.

Dr. Recchi is too busy treating Pronger's eye. We'll have to rely on Max's superpowers.

I expected the injury to be a lot worse than what's being reported today so I guess that we got some good news.

Great news. Just wish he would buck up and play hurt like the habs of old.
That is the problem with habs - no courage, grit or determination by these players.

Do you agree though, that even with Markov in the lineup, we still lack a #4 dman?

Can it be permanent? I had a few injured in my hand last year and my grip still doesn't seem as strong as it used to be.

Elite athletes get better medical care and more intensive physiotherapy than the average civilian, even a Watsatheo.

Perhaps you torn yours. His, it seems, is only partially torn (stretched). Also, when it is stretched/torn, a ligament will usually lose some of its resistance. They can not contract. That's why people do physiotherapy; they then use the tonicity of their muscles/tendons to hold everything in place.

In the end, you probably need to do physiotherapy. He certainly will, if it's required.

Really? Remember when he came back after getting hit in the ribs? I'm gonna give him a pass on that whole light hit by Chara. Wrists are not easy to fall on. It's the first thing I thought when I saw the replay. I've had that hockey injury a couple of times. What's wrong with him is that he's on Graham Rhynbend's regimen of Fragile-FX (eh...bio/med joke..nm).

the worst part is your far from the truth it's not even funny
the only time he's missed is after the chara hit and you do recall he was ready for round 2 right? most people would be out till next season

max takes so much punishment and damage and keeps getting back up
remember the rib shot? back the next game
