If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. Won't be here for all of it, have to listen to it in the car for most of the time.

Is Raycroft starting? If so, it should be a pretty close game, and Columbus will definitely come out shooting. If not, I think we shouldn't have a big problem with this, but definitely shouldn't take it lightly.

I've got a feeling Benn has one heckuva game tonight. May not show up on the stat sheet, but I think he'll dominate tonight.

Go Stars!!!

The team had two days off before this game and two games off after it. No reason for Raycroft to start. I'd imagine he'll get into one of the back-to-back games this weekend.

Not too much, Kari had 2 days off between games and it was a light load on Saturday. Raycroft will start either Friday or Saturday. Preferably Friday so Kari gets 3 days off before the Kings on Saturday.

Everything updated after last night's games. Stars fall to 2nd in the division with Anaheim's win over San Jose.

Jacket's expected line-up

Umberger - Brassard - Nash
Prospal - Vermette - Giroux
Mayorov - Pahlsson - Dorsett
MacKenzie/Johansen - MacKenzie/Johansen - Bass

Atkinson and Calvert have been sent to Springfield. Carter is hurt.

Tyutin - Savard
Clitsome - Martinek
Russell - Johnson

Methot has tweaked something - unknown whether he will play.

Mason
Corbeil

Who is Corbeil you ask? Why, he is an unsigned junior goalie called up on emergency recall for one day since the following is true:
Goalie #1 = Mason
Goalie #2 = Dekanich (high ankle sprain out 2-3 more weeks)
Goalie #3 = Sanford (hurt in practice yesterday - more tests today)
Goalie #4 = York (out with a shoulder injury)
Springfield's back-up goalie (#5 in the chain) is not signed by the Jackets therefore, the CBJ have recalled Corbeil from juniors. Yea.

Weak line up IMO, Stars should come out on top tonight.

And lol @ the emergency backup. I always love hearing those kinds of stories (been happening often latley). I really want to see an emergency backup play in a game one day (maybe due to the starter being injured or pulled) Maybe Stars could do either one tonight to Mason

Been that way for at least two seasons and probably three. Has nothing to do with mocking. We have 3 players since the move to Texas that should have their number retired. All 3 are represented in the GT and that's how I chose to do it.

I personally feel there is not a player that has played for the Stars that better personifies the injury list than the well loved Mr. Lehtinen. Even given his injuries there were some of us who didn't want him to retire. Him being the title holder for the injury list category doesn't mean he wasn't loved or didn't do amazing things while he played but it was a very real aspect of his time in Dallas and to ignore it is to rewrite his time in Dallas.

Oh well, GO STARS!!!

This will be a night of lot of goal scoring. Stars will win 5-4. Benn with 2 goals, Goligoski, Wandell and Fiddler with the others.
