Think I might go drop in on the SJ forum tonight since I'm watching Sharks at Devils.

Burns just caused a penalty shot to Parise.

Guess what happened...

Parise scored and subsequently left the rink saying he was taking his talents to Calhoun Beach?

Eh, he's looked not all that good out there. Mostly just how he looked with the Wild. That team in general just doesn't look to be what they were hyped to be yet.

Apparently, the Sharks had pretty much the same season start last year.

Sharks pulled a Wild.

Score a late 3rd period goal and win in shootouts.

And Nash apparently had zero shots on net in a game that they desperately needed to win against the Wings. Guess he ain't captain material either.

I'm now watching Eric Nystrom and the Stars against the Ducks.

Here's a good stream if you wanna watch the game. No HD game on Center Ice = stream

Yep. The Jackets may see Richards as a head coach after all. But with all the talks about Mikko, I found it very intriguing that Nash hasn't stepped up to the plate for Columbus. They're in desperate need of a win. I think Modano even tweeted that Nash needs to ask for a trade.

I may have made a $100 bet that the Wild would finish ahead of the Stars

Florida trades David Booth for pennies on the dollar to Vancouver. Can't even give a good explanation for that one.

Why did the Panthers add a 3rd?

EDIT: NVM, here's the answer...

Also, Canucks getting back their own 3rd rounder allows them flexibility to present an offer sheet if they so choose. They "bought" the pick

Did they even put him on the market? Or is this just an FU to Chicago?

Capgeek has them with $9 million after this season.

I'd assume they'd go after D, so that means Weber, Green, or Hedman RFA-wise. Beyond them, the D-lineup is pretty weak.

So that means that next season it'll be former Predators playing eachother six times a season when Weber goes to Vancouver and Suter comes to Minnesota

Normally, I'm okay with the Jackets losing, because we're "cousins." That said, when I heard that they had only won 3 games out of the last 30, I felt a little sick about it. I thought the Wild had struggles, but good grief. They have their hands full.
