KP officially out for the T20 WC. Good for England.

Ausralia through to the finals in the U19 WC. NZ v India to play the 2nd semi.

NZ v Australia would be a pretty sick finals.

Brian Lara inducted into the hall of fame. It was just a matter of time.

Being the classy guy he is, Lara dedicated the honour to his father:

Quote:
"This person you see today before you accepting this Hall of Fame honour is someone he [Bunty Lara] moulded. He ensured that I had everything I needed to succeed as a cricketer and in life, even in trying times," Lara said. "He made a special effort to make sure everything was there.

"I had to work hard ... but I knew I had strong support. My biggest pain was that he did not see me play a Test match, but having the West Indies team in Trinidad at his funeral was a special tribute to the man who made sure I was given the tools to play this glorious game and make such a lasting contribution."

World T20 started today.

Sri Lanka beating Zimbabwe fairly comfortably right now.

Afghanistan were doing really well until Yuvraj took 2 in an over. 75/4 in the 12th. Need 85.

If they had held a few more catches and kept India down under 120 they might have a shot at it.

Think 160 was always going to be a bridge to far.

Dont think there is anyway back from 99 for 5.

Need 61 from 5 overs. 1.69 runs per ball or 10.14 an over.

Afghanistan has really surprised me. They're better than I thought they would be.

These guys can hit the ball. Once they learn the proper technique, they have the potential to do some serious damage.

Still a chance but highly unlikely to do it with their tail enders. They've given a fantastic account of themselves though.

If it wasn't for that Yuvraj over, India would've been screwed. Good performance from the Afghans.

Who do you guys think has the best chance to win this thing?

I think West Indies have the best chance, followed by England, and then India.

If Gayle and Narine maintain form, WI will be close to unstoppable.

93-8 for Zimbabwe in their innings against South Africa.

15 runs in the first over for SA. This could be over before I have to go to my 12:45.

Hell of an innings by Brendon McCullum in the early game today, 123 runs of just 58 balls.

Highest score ever in an international T20.

Luke Wright standed on 99* for England as they finish 196-5 and are looking very comfortable against Afghanistan.

5/2 so far for Afghanistan. Could well see this being a short innings.

22/5

Yeah, fantastic rolling catch Lowest ever score in history of 20/20 was in some Indian match I think at 30 between Tripura and Dhanbad. Lowest international is Namibia with 55 against Scotland in 2011. Lowest ever official competition score I think is 67 by Kenya in the qualifiers a few years back.

Naib saving Afghanistan's blushes a bit wit 16 in one over.

The Argans just cannot handle the short stuff at all, get Broad and Finn back on and finish this up.

70/9. Avoid the lowest total ever.
