I find it very difficult to handicap Florida this year. Substantial turnover can theoretically improve a team significantly, but it usually takes time for the parts to gel. Nice start for the Panthers this season, albeit early. Nowhere to go but up.

Actually from 3-1 there's a lot more room to go down than up

Hard to handicap anything. Parity plus 82-game season plus variables such as goaltending and refs ... On any given night, either team could win 5-0.

And there's your new league motto: 'NHL - Any Given Tues Night'

Is this when you have had a concussion and then you get another one. The Capitals intend to reprocution Crosby once he returns.

They should be. A very good chance they only get one point!

Yes, but there is nowhere to go but up from 72 points and 15th in the East, 28th in the NHL.

Not true. There's 29th . . . hell, there's even 30th.

Caps have a way to make new goalies look good. But I think they start to pull their **** out of their *** and take advantage of tired Cats. 3-2 in reg.

Does anybody else really want the Caps to have a dominating win one of these days? I need my free wings.

I really don't see anyone going after Matt Bradley, at least not tonight in front of the home crowd. Bradley was here for 6 years, he was a warrior for the team when others were not and most fans remember him for this. He probably violated some hockey code when he made those remarks about Semin to the media but I just don't see anyone to include Hendricks trying to make a statement about it tonight. Now if the game was in Florida that might be a different matter, but in front of the home crowd I just don't think it would play well.

If anyone needs to respond to Bradley, it's Semin and via scoring.

Ovy will line Bradley up, and likely lay into him with a big hit. That will be the extent of it, unfortunately.

I also think nothing will happen to Bradley tonight or any other night for those comments… the guy bled rivers for this team… so he said a few things he shouldn’t have, big deal…
Also just went thru Panthers GDT, didn’t see any fear as some claim, healthy respect? Yes, but fear…? Wishful thinking… The ass whooping they put on Tampa last night, plus 3-1 record has Panthers fans feeling a little better about their chances, as they should.

If someone does line Bradley up, you think he'll just lay down and take it? Especially if they need a momentum swing?

The way Shanahan has been giving out suspensions this season, I donít really feel comfortable OV or any other of our valuable players lining Brads up. I donít want any suspensions coming from hitting ****ing Matt Bradley, which would be stupid, especially for OVÖ Now, when certain #87 comes back (I hope he does before 1st week of December) go ahead line him the **** up, take turns doing itÖ

I don't see a problem with the Letang suspension. He did pretty much exactly what the league sent out a video emphasizing to players NOT to do.

Will BB have a tearful embrace with Flash after the game at center ice?

Nor do i, i'm talking in general... If OV mistimes the hit or the player tries to avoid the hit in the last moment, like the time against Gonchar, OV will be sitting out for 10+...
