Florida has come out of the locker room firing. Whether the storm, and respond as soon as possible.

OV seems to be in better shape this season. He is skating hard most of the time. Just need the rest of his game to come around. The longer this goes the more I think of Chuck Knoblauch. He may a very highly paid 30g player from now on.

Chuck Knoblauch may be a little extreme of a comparison. He just looked the same since the Olympics.

Injured his foot but it's minor from what I heard. Wouldn't mind seeing Holtby get a start in the next game though before Neuvirth comes back.

Just caught up live. Outstanding freaking game so far. No mental issues. Playing fast. Quick passing. The way you should play a tired opponent.

Great coaching by BB alternating the sides of attack by AO. That line has had more ozone possession then any four games.

Last year we split the season series against Fla. 3-3. Vokoun was in goal for all 3 Fla, wins and shutout the Caps in two of those games.

Man. How sweet will it be when we start finishing?

I've seen at least four of those in every game so far. Great puck movement, puck goes where they want, then bounces or the shooter is skating through a little too hard.

wow, caps have missed on a couple really good chances and i think markstrom has legit stole 2 goals..."could be X" is one of the most overused statements in hockey but this really could/should be 3 or 4-0 at this point...

I love it when the refs start handling people by pushing or pulling them. Ice makes it seem like they're the strongest people in the universe.

Anyone see what happened to Green? Looked like he might have been slashed badly. I fear for a broken hand.

One of the best games I've seen the Caps play in a while, too bad it's not reflected on the scoreboard. The Panthers just cannot match our intensity and hustle. If it wasn't for good goaltending and a few bad bounces we would be up by at least 3 goals.

Vokoun is also exuding confidence in his crease. Not sure if it's the lack of shots or the fact they're playing Florida, but if he is this aggressive it bodes very well for the rest of the season.

Hope Green isn't injured. His dangles have been really amazing this game.

2 great periods in the books. Caps are looking damn good. Just gotta bury some of those quality scoring chances. Could easily be 4-0 at this point. Looking great tho on both ends of the ice and I'm loving the speed and hustle. 1 more period like this and this will be our best game of the season in terms of play. Def should get the W if the level of play stays this good. C'mon Caps Keep it up!

Caps are heroes and this is a team effort and a real TEAM.

Nice to know, because I'm putting some cool dough on you guys in the future again.

Tonight I got Philly down and now I needs you to win. Just getting some cool cash, nothing like fingers or anything like that.

Ovie might trick in the third.
