I would be extremely surprised if he made it into the Ring of Honor. I mean no disrespect, but I don't think he deserves to be up there. I mean come on, Bure's not even in there.

A simple honoring of his life would be appropriate.

I'll go with a 3-1 win for the good guys.
Kesler, D. Sedin, and Samuelsson with the goals for the good guys.

I hope the Ballard/Bieksa pairing doesn't suck tonight. And I hope Kesler isn't too rusty.

Liking the defense pairing tonight, Ed Ham, Juice Ball, Al Sal.

Also extremely happy for to see Kesler on the ice again!!

Rip ripper.

There are 2 things I am anxious to see.

I'd like to see if (over the next few games) Kesler and Hodgson (and Higgins) can establish some chemistry. Hodgson has shown some creativity with the puck and tenacity along the boards. We could be looking at at least 2/3 or our 2nd line of the future.

I'd also like to see how Bieksa and Ballard work together. This is an opportunity for Ballard to step up and earn the coaching staff's confidence and to see how Bieksa plays without Hamhuis. I've seen some signs of the bad Bieksa in the first few games, but the whole team is not playing extremely well, so it isn't fair to single out one guy.

Maybe they’ll take it out of circulation like with Bourdon’s but there’s no way they can justify retiring it. He played 119 games for the team and had 16 points – his death was terribly sad but there’s no way he deserves to have his number hanging from the rafters.

My Shaw HD box bugged out on me, and I can't get through to Shaw right now. Are there any online feeds for the game? Please let me know, I really want to watch this game.

If that's what they're going with tonight get ready for some adventures. Ballard-Bieksa is an accident waiting to happen.

*tears* Bieksa obviously knows the family. That was a long hug with Rypien's mom. And his brother is a splitting image.
