NCAA/US College Seniors that NHL Teams will be looking to sign

Was curious to know the list of non-drafted NCAA/US College/US University Seniors will be targeted by NHL teams come season's end. (The Stephane DaCosta's of 2011-2012)

From RIT, I could see a guy like Cameron Burt, or Shane Madolora (G) getting some recognition. Madolora still has a year of eligibility, but says he was gonna leave after this (his senior year). Neither will jump to the NHL, but i can see them getting signed.

Just a clarification here...Da Costa was not a senior last year. He was a sophomore.

I actually answered this question on the prospects board, but I can list some of the players here too. Please note that these are players that are already on the radar and not necessarily the best players at the moment. (In no particular order):

Scott Zurevinski (Quinnipiac)
Jack Maclellan (Brown)
Jack Connolly and J.T. Brown (Minnesota-Duluth)
Torey Krug (Michigan State)
Chris Rawlings (Northeastern)
Scott Greenham (Alaska)
Spencer Abbott (Maine)
Drew Leblanc (St. Cloud State)

FYI, Krug, Brown and Rawlings are not seniors this year.

Thanks all for your responses.

I just wanted to come back to this thread to see if, in your opinion, any of these players are starting to pull ahead of the rest in terms of the seasons that they are having to date.

Thanks.

While not a Senior, Mark Zengerle (Wisconsin) is tied for the lead in NCAA scoring so that's going to get scouts attention. Terry Broadhurst and teammate Matt White(Neb-Omaha) is in a similar boat.

Rylan Schwartz looked impressive vs North Dakota, got to think he'll get a lot of attention as well, if he turns pro as he's a Junior he could be one of the top FA in the NCAA.

UMD should have a bunch of scouts watching their FA's, Jack Connolly, J.T. Brown, Travis Oleksuk, Brady Lamb, Ken Reiter.

Nate Schmidt is having a good year at Minesota so far.

Great night in Omaha, JT Brown had a hat trick for Min-Duluth with lots of NHL execs looking on. He'll have tons of offers to choose from.

Do you think Marcou is the best undrafted College D-man available?

UMD fans better enjoy J.T. Brown because he is going to be gone after this season, he is the total package and I can see NHL scouts drooling all over this guy.
