Hey guys, first time, long time. Does anyone have information on the guys that their asking to play in the alumni game?
Saw an article where Eric Lindros said he think the Legion of Doom line will be playing. Nothing on the NYR front. I'd have to imagine all the guys that stick around the ogranization like Duguay, Maloney, Fotiu will play..I'd assume Messier, Richter and Leetch will be asked as well.
The root of the news report about those being the real jerseys is this post on Philly Sports Daily. However, the only source they mention is DC Visual Arts.

However, DC Visual Arts has zero web presence aside from a facebook page and a parked GoDaddy URL, which is unlikely for a firm with enough clout to be getting this kind of work. Not to mention that a design firm would never leak their own work before their clients debut it.
Also, whoever is behind DC Visual Arts has been banned multiple times for the Chris Creamer Sports Logos message board for being a plagiarist and fabulist. That board is full of people who actually do work in this business and/or have legitimate sources in it, so if they're calling BS, I'd tend to believe them.

Yeah, I don't really believe that these are the official jerseys - mostly because the retro shield logo isn't on them anywhere and I really doubt that they would put that logo up at the field and on all the promotional stuff if its not anywhere on the jersey. Also - this company sounds extremely shady.
Personally, I like the team name arched over the numbers idea a lot and I hope that they end up going with it. Like I said, its the only home design that NYR has used that is really different so I think its a good idea to base the vintage jersey on it. Its the only design that is really representative ONLY of any older time in NYR jersey design.

I read over on the Flyers board that some people already bought tickets, and had an extremely limited selection on seating. I have a feeling if we get anything, we won't have any kind of pricing or section choice -- it would just be assigned to us.

There were cameras in camp at some point, so I guess they film here and there but the main thing will start in December. The premiere is scheduled on December 14th.
Zipay said last night they start filming December 1st.
I believe Zipay may be wrong but I'm not sure.
I clearly remember an incident during training camp involving the HBO cameramen in the Ranger's locker room where they were standing on the Ranger's crest in the center of the room and Brandon Prust "yelled" at them to get off of it.
I could be wrong however but I believe they started filming in training camp. Also if they started filming December 1st, that really doesn't give much of a time frame to get all the episodes together after filming everything.
