Feels like a whole offseason has passed. 4 off days is way too much in between games.

But can't wait. Going to have to DVR the game though as I won't be home. LETS GO ISLANDERS!!!!

Ditto that!

Jeez, it feels like it's been forever. About the only good thing about these longer layovers is that we know that some of the players can really use that regeneration/healing time.

Of course, teams almost always appear to be a bit flater.

I think this'll be a different game than the 5-1 dousing a week ago.

Need to come out strong, Tampa has been very bad so far and should be very motivated.

Much tougher game tonight. I expect Garon in the nets as Roloson has been awful this year. Is Gillies dressing?

As long as the Isles tonight get the puck in deep and pressure their defense things should be in the Isles favor no matter who is in net tonight. You can't trot out MAB, Gilroy, and Gervais as 3 of your 6 and not expect to have a hard time winning. These guys will turn the puck over all night not to mention Hedman who seems to be underwhelming but I won't group him in with the other 3.

I'm excpecting like a 4-3/5-3 Isles win tonight. They won't keep Tampa off the scoreboard like they did last time(1 goal) but they can definitely outscore them.

Also I feel that Tavares will notch another multi point game.

Anything less than two points a night and I'll bash Tavares for his inability to produce

Eric Brewer is day to day with an uppder body injury. If he's out of the lineup that's a big + for the Isles.

Should be a good game tonight. I think we come out with a win. Have you seen Tampa's defense?

I'm going with a 5-2 win.

Because he's the best they got which means that their D will be even more god awful than it already is.

The Lightning defense will continue to get exposed. The Islanders have to come out strong and hungry in the first and get that crowd out of it.

4-2 Islanders.

Let's go!!

I don't expect 4 points but JT should be able to get a streak going here.

I forgot about this gif and my god it scares me every time. Feeling another win but a much closer game due to the long break. 3-2 win, Bailey is gonna get his first of the season tonight.

So is Nabby the true number 1 now? I thought Montoya was looking great?

Comon now Hedman **** with our boys now, glad to see Gillies is going to be here for this one, would rather see Haley but we put our nutcase out there to keep them in check! Im hoping big things for Bailey tonight and KO, really hoping both of them find the net tonight

If indeed that does happen, This is the perfect time for our guys who are having slow starts to build some confidence and take advantage of these 2 dmen and exploit them
