Burke Scouting Boston - Carolina Game Last Night

According to James Murphy (NHL.com/ESPN Boston), Burke was in the press box at the Bruins game last night. Any idea who he could be looking at? It's rumoured that Ruutu is on the block, but is he much of an improvement over anyone in our top six?

I don't see adding a player like Ruutu really helps us. To get him you would have to move a guy like Lupul to fit him and you know Carolina is going to want Kadri coming back. Is that really the direction we want to head?

Leafs play in Boston on Thursday, and Burke has ties to Boston with kids from previous marriage.

So Burke flies to Boston early ahead of team .. Mystery solved !!!

If Burke saw the game last night, I am sure he will whisper in Wilson's ear. "Play Orr or Rosehill". Maybe even both. Dupuis can sit, hasn't done much yet in my opinion.

Maybe Burke is on his way to Florida to check in with Biggs.

Maybe. Except he'd be in the wrong place.

Biggs plays for Miami University, true, but it's in Ohio.

or we could poke them and hide behind the refs...it's not very honourable but it seems to be effective

Burke is the best GM the Bruins ever had. Probably there for nostalgic purposes.
