Unless Josefson can play wing , the Devils do not need another 2nd line center. Josefson is not there yet but he has the potential. It all depends on how good Brassard is and what his dkillset is compared to Josefson who is the typical Devils center.
What would Columbus want from Anaheim for Brassard?

Columbus in order to move either of these guys would need a top 4 or better D. We would likely add if needed. I don't think management has given up on Mason yet so I don't think they are looking for a goalie. Also your team may have to take salary back for this to work, just to keep in mind.
Btw nothin will likely happen until the extent of Carter injury is known which is this time next week.
For TB, we would probably be looking for a defenseman that is only on a one or two year deal, and could be had from a team trying to clear space for some reason for a prospect and or a pick. I dont see TB making anyone on the roster available as part of the trade except for maybe Blair Jones, Tom Pyatt, or Mattias Ritola.
Could Schneider return a package of D prospects? Maybe Moore + Goloubef with a pick on either side to balance things out?

I disagree, he is not better than: Umberger, Vermette, Huselius, Nash, or Carter.
If you want Brassard, you would need to offer Gleason plus.
I still think Bogosian for Brassard is a good idea. This way the Jets can send Scheifele back to Jrs and move Burmistrov out to the wing or down to the minors. Allowing their prospects to develop appropriately and stop rushing them to the NHL. Jets still have a solid top4 defense and Postma coming in.
