I tend to be a ***** for Samsung. I have two Samsung computer monitors. My TV is a Samsung LCD, I have a Samsung Nexus S phone, and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

When my parents bought their TV and bluray player, I had them get Samsung for those as well.

The only electronics that I use constantly that aren't made by them would be my PS3 (Sony), my receiver (Pioneer) and my computer (HP).

Apple.

I own an iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, 24" LED Cinema Display, 1 AEBS, 2 AE, Apple TV.

Exceptions are PS3, like you, and TV (Panasonic). And HDDs: Western Digital.

If I may add - this thread has potential.

I have 2 Samsung HDTVs and one Samsung laptop. We have 4 Blackberries, but also one i phone 4 and an Apple Macbook pro. I had a fair amount of Toshiba products around, but they seemed to breakdown and I got rid of them. I guess I'm a sucker for a few different companies.

Brand loyalty is dumb. Companies have no loyalty to you.

Use whatever works for you and feel free to switch to something else if better comes along.

I don't buy the products because of who make them, I buy them because of the quality. It just happens that Samsung has never let me down.

Why is it dumb? If you find a company that gets it right, and works for you, what's wrong with going back to them?

I don't have single brand loyalty, but I do have brand anti-trust.

I dislike Apple.

when it comes to building my home PCs its always:

Intel for cpus
Nvidia for video

and for home routers i always go with Linksys, so there's some loyalty there as well.

when it comes to anything else, i'm pretty flexible.

oh, and then there's Valve and Steam who i support for my pc gaming needs. i prefer them to all the other options.

Add another for Samsung. Have an HDTV(which was repaired under warranty, which was an excellent experience), a nice widescreen monitor, and soon will have a phone(Galaxy Nexus more than likely). I have a friend that had a Samsung slider phone and now a Galaxy S and both have been excellent.

Brand loyalty isn't about a mightier than thou product, but rather about sticking to what works. I've had great experiences with Samsung products, so unless someone can show me that another is better much cheaper or that it has features I want while a Samsung product doesn't, I'll stick with Samsung. The only company I'll avoid like the plague is Apple. Can't stand them, their products, their attitudes, and will never support them no matter their "innovation".

Whatever product offers me the best value for my money at the moment. Brand loyalty means you're basically limiting yourself to a small selection of choices.

If we're talking gaming I tend to buy the games that Paradox Entertainment creates like the Europa Universalis, Victoria and Hearts of Iron series of games.

For electrical stuff and computer hardware etc I'm not loyal to any one brand, I freelance and look for good reviews and cheap prices.

I am also another supporter of Samsung in that I only have one of their TV's but I am very happy with it.

Pixar because they seemingly only put out quality though I am not too crazy about the Cars movies.

The Kirkland brand at Costco. It is always top notch quality and in many cases the best that I have had in whatever variety it is.

Blizzard Entertainment mainly because they test the crap out of their games before they release them and you always get a great product with them.

Interesting that you mention paradox. I have the opposite reaction with them. After getting hearts of iron via steam because I love WW2 sims I am extremely cautious purchasing a paradox product unless it has great reviews and I have played a demo or something of it first. I found that game to be extremely broken and downright unplayable and seemingly unfinished at times.

EA way back in the day (mid 90's) used to be a brand that I supported and felt that any product churned out by them was quality compared to their competitors. Man have times changed.

Let's see...

Toshiba TV
LG smart phone
Apple computer
Sony PS3
Sony sound system
LG blu ray player

No real royalty to any company...

I don't think I have more than 2 devices from the same company, but if I do it's not because of name only. It would've been because they offered the best match or price on whatever I was looking for at the time.

I don't regret any of it.

I choose to use Apple products not because I feel I owe something to Apple, but because there isn't a product of theirs that I've used that I haven't really liked.

Sony TV
Sony PS3
Xbox 360
Apple iPhone
HP Monitors
PC parts are like 6 different brands
Acer laptop
Canon camera

So, I guess Sony? Though I personally didn't buy the TV, and barely ever play the PS3.

Are you talking about Hearts of Iron 3? To be honest that's a game I haven't bought from them and I know it is bugged to hell. Hearts of Iron 2 however is a masterpiece so if you're willing to give it one more shot and can take slightly outdated graphics then I can wholeheartedly recommend that game.

Closest would be ASUS. But I only own like 2 things by them.

I guess I prefer Western Digital for hard drives.

Yes it is hearts of iron 3. I absolutely hated the interface though is HOI2 the same type of interface?

Speaking of these kinds of games one brand I used to always support was the developer KOEI. I loved basically every game they put out. PTO, Lunar, Aerobiz, and my favorite Iron Storm.

Starbucks. I drink their coffe while I'm on my HP computer, watching the Toshiba tv or listening to my Apple ipod.
