Was at the games against Michigan this past weekend. In regards to Tyler Biggs, he is beginning to gain confidence. He's a big guy who is learning to use his strength and size. On Friday night, he was all over the place in both zones of the game. He had a break away and took one hell of a shot that just hit the post. Minutes later he took the puck into the zone, made a cut inside and ripped a sick shot that beat the goalie. This would be the game winning goal. On saturday he was less noticeable but still had some decent chances. He had a goal waived off after it appeared that his foot kicked the puck in. His board play needs some work. He's got to be more aggressive. In the late stages of Friday's game, he lost some very key board battles when the game was on the line. With his size there's no reason for him to lose these battles. This was, by far, his best series yet and the potential is there for him to be a great player.
The team has gotten off to a slow start but Biggs looks great. He's a really aggressive player thats a lot of fun to watch. Definitely one of the best freshmen on the team, and we had a big incoming class. Definitely a fan favorite for us students
