I don't think I've ever seen a team so flat-footed... my goodness.

Heartbreaker of a loss. No intensity from the Flames at all tonight.

Hey, got a point. That was good.

Too bad the PP took a giant Erixon tonight.

No hitting after the first period, I agree. We had the chance to dominate them physically and wear them down.

Great game, guys. I think some of you are being a bit too hard on the team, I thought they played a better game, overall, than the Rangers tonight. The Glencross-Jokinen-Stempniak line did an excellent job of shutting down Stepan-Richards-Gaborik at even strength, and that Smith kid played a very, very solid game - where'd he come from? He's seemed solid in all of the Flames games I've watched this season, did he take Babchuk's place in the lineup?

The Anton is giving his protege Anton Smith some time in the limelight.

But seriously, coach thought he looked slow in the first game, not taking practices seriously enough as well I guess.

Am I the only one who thinks Butler is terrible? He falls down more than Stajan, can't make a pass out of the zone or keep the puck in the offensive zone. Man I miss Regehr

Well, at least we got a point...

Thats about all I can say that was good. Iginla was horrid defensively, but he made up for it on the score sheet.

Bouwmeester did make a bonehead play on that short handed give away, however I thought he was one of our best players in the 3rd. He was skating very well and got the puck in the offensive zone with consistancy.

Tough loss, I thought both teams were just ok. Karlsson looked really good I thought and the goal in OT (with milliseconds left) was not his fault either. I don't think you can really blame Gio either on that goal as he had his man covered. It was a bad bounce and McDonaugh was in the right place at the right time. I guess the forward that should of been back checking there could be blamed, although I cannot remember who should of had him.

It was a winable game for the Flames, these losses are not going to help this teams cause down the stretch. These are the games that we have to win and I think Karlsson more than played good enough to get the W. It was a good call to give him the start IMO.

Yeah now that it's over it's nice to know that Kipper will be fresh for games against Nashville, Colorado, and St. Louis. All teams we will be competing with for a playoff spot.

That must have been a different Jay Bouwmeester you were watching, 'cause the guy I saw literally jumped out of his skates leading to the Rangers' SHG.

$6.68 million a year and that's how he f***ing plays? Mother******.

Wrong. The Flames are exactly where most pundits predicted they'll be - dead last in the division and 23rd overall in the standings.

There will be no competing for a playoff spot this year.

Thought two bad pieces of defending cost us the game, Boumeester & Morrison.
