Him, the hound and dorney are there most nights. Bernie is the man though, he'd be high on my list of celebs I'd like to chat over dinner with. His new self help book is an interesting read.

Saw him at a gas station right over the BFB in Camden a few years back. Gave me the thumbs up for my Flyers license plate and said something about Giroux that I didn't understand (or at least I think he said something like that).

I must ask, was he eating anything? Every time I see him on a Flyers commercial or TV spot, he's got food in his hands or is next to food, like Brad Pitt in the Oceans movies.

I have had his tickets a few times. A friend of mine lived across the street from him Bernie (great guy BTW, Bernie I mean, actually so was my friend). It was cool going up to the will call window and asking for Carol Parent's tickets. Once year was right next to sign man, another was further back. We sat with Bernie's step son one time.

Is there any place you can usually find him before a game? I'd love to meet him.

He might not need them, but he had them for his family, back in the Spectum days. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the guys affiliated with the team had tix for family and friends/guests. The team will only supply so many (to a select few pobably).

I met him once. I got a picture with him. He then proceeded to show off his stanley cup rings to my girlfriend standing nearby.

In all honesty Bernie probably could have cared less about it "looking familiar". Matter of fact I saw him an hour or so ago at Tony Lukes and I asked him about your M&N jersey and he replied with this quote. "Yeah the jersey was nice but the nameplate was off a bit and the arm number were inaccurate for the era."

for the record just about anytime anyone posts a flyers jersey in the flyers section PB33 responds with how something was wrong it. How the numbers or name is off and not exactly like "on-ice" jerseys. Sorry to seem like an A-hole but I felt the need...
