Any post-game interviews online? I went straight to Call of Duty after the game, so I missed the interviews.

just could not vote for McDonagh....aside from the goal he scored, I felt he played quite poorly tonight. He was a giveaway MACHINE.

What's overlooked in all the OT madness is that Henrik Lundqvist had a spectacular game once again. Some of the saves he made, I don't know how he does it.

Despite the GWG and the fact that he was getting more involved offensively towards the end of the game, McDonagh had a bad defensive game. He made some very poor decisions with the puck in the slot and around the net that could have proven costly. Erixon looked calm and poised even though the boos were raining down upon him every time he touched the puck.

Gaborik was flying, he has 180ed from last season, and Richards is a model of consistency, scoring a point in each of our games. Dubinsky started to turn it around in the second half of the game, making 2 great rushes down the ice, the 2nd which resulted in the game winner.

I like what I'm seeing so far from this team, although I'm not sure how much longer this D can survive without Sauer and Staal.

Gabby has been flying. He's been, if not the most bad ass forward, the most dangerous forward.

McDonalds did have a really rough game I thought. Also Del Zotto - man he is tough to watch defensively.
He is so damn weak on the boards,

Hey guys, one of your younger players I'm most intrigued by is Anisimov. He looks really poised out there and he does alot of small things really well. He also appears to have quite of bit of skill for a guy with his size. What kind of season are you expecting from him?

wait.....what? you know that MDZ is #4 right? he's one of our strongest defenseman physically. if he messes up on the boards its usually a product of him misreading rather than anything physical.

Again though, i felt all the D outside of Girardi, and to a lesser degree Eminger had mediocre (Erixon, MDZ, Woywitka) to horrendous (MCD) games.

While Micky D wasn't at his best tonight, (Screened Hank, unforced Delay of Game penalty among many other mishaps) he is intitled to an off day. After all,.. he is logging 25 minutes a game as a sophmore. Even so,... you have an off day and still score the gamewinner in OT in a building where you haven't won in since '02? I'll take that off day everytime.

I thought Woywitka played a solid game. He made alot of subtle plays that I noticed.

MDZ is strong on the boards. Thats about all he's got going for him in his own zone. Doesn't know how to block a pass or a shot and his positioning is horrible. Although he is improving this year. Lets see if he keeps it up.

Went with Hank, Gabby, then Dubi

Gaborik is absolutely flying around the ice. It's a joy to watch this from him. Hopefully the guy can stay healthy. I think having Richards and Stepan playing with him will help him avoid injury as he can stay off the boards in the D and O zone being both of those players are natural centers.

Hank was Hank as usual. 1st goal was a defensive gaff, and the 2nd goal was screened, tough luck.

Dubi turned it up as the game went along, which was important to me and the reason I picked him. Prust would have gotten it if Dubi didn't get better as the game went along. It was his best of the season.

McDonagh, great goal, average game defensively, which for him is below average for him. We expect better, but it could be worse for a 2nd year player.

I thought the D was pretty good tonight. MDZ, Erixon, Eminger and Woywitka played fine. Girardi a notch down from what we have seen this season so far, but even that is good for me.

Nothing special from AA, Cally, Feds, and the 4th line. Boyle was very solid all night and set Prust up for the SHG

Sam Rosen, The Rangers Win, The Rangers Win!!

Sam Rosen, It's a Power Play Goal!!

Micky D

Can't blame Sam for getting excited tonight. It's his first "It's a Power Play Goal' of the season. And then winning it in OT with no time left.

As bad as McD played tonight he was possessed in OT. Tried to win it a minute earlier with a good rush and a great shot on net,... off a nice defensive play on Bouwmeester. Then scores with the clock running out. WE haven't won in Calgary since '02! Give the kid the credit he deserves.

These were 2 huge wins. And Micky D was a huge part of it. We don't do well out west. We haven't won in Vancouver since '06 before Tuesday. It might be early in the season, but you cannot underestimate how big these 2 wins were. It might say alot about this team's season and strength.

McDonagh is a boss

Team still doesn't look quite there...not enough sustained pressure, but a win is a win.

Also, my favorite part of the game was Bouwmeester looking up and seeing huge Brian Boyle coming down on him, so he completely bails out on the puck and Boyle gets it and sets up Prust for the shorty

edit: this is also really the first game where I really felt the loss of Staal. Probably because Iginla was having his way out there and being on the road lets teams match up their top line against ****ing Steve Emminger and Jeff WoWo. The sooner that pair is 3rd pairing or scratched the better...it's not that they're playing bad, it just freaks me out to see them out there so much because the Rangers gotta give their top line a rest and the other pairing is a bunch of kids. Missing two top 4 defensemen sucks

1. Gaborik
2. Hank
3. Erixon

Glad Erixon had a good game. Gaborik was crazy good and Hank was just Hank. Prust had himself a good game too.

I only watched the first period, which I thought was pretty good.

But my main observation so far this season is the way Stepan has totally turned up his game. He does not look like a kid. He is playing fearless. but also with play-making skill.

He is looking like the real thing.

McDonagh had his worst game as a Ranger BY FAR. Were 56 people watching the same game I was? GWG or not, he was terrible.

Voted for Lundy.
