How many penalties did Greene take tonight?

Quick going for the three peat on Saturday.

Rare pure 4th line goal tonight. That's huge.

Kopitar keeps his streak alive. Scored in all 6 games.

Richards is money on the PP, got his 4th primary PP assist. Making Kompon look good.

Voynov was okay tonight. I just wish he would be more assertive on offense. He had a couple of chances to skate it out and he elected to make the pass. He's got great skating ability and should use it.

Kings are proving why many have them as SC contender on paper. This team has more depth than VAN, SJS, ANA, DET with AT LEAST as much top end talent. This is 100% a SC contender and anything less than a legitimate threat to claim the Cup is a failure. From top to bottom I could easily see this as the best Kings team ever.

This team is playing great even without our #1 D-man, almost scared to screw up the chemistry when Doughty comes back lol

I'm so glad Clifford and the 4th got that goal. That should be a huge relief for them. I was really happy with our PP tonight too. We had a good cycle going and I think the addition of Richards has a lot to do with that.

The bottom six finally starting to show some chemistry over the last 2 games. That was really missing on the long road trip, but I'm happy to see them producing now. I guess moving Moreau over to the left and moving Richie to the right has made a difference.

Bob and Jim pointed out that the Kings seem very composed with passing in their own zone and that's something I noticed too. Now, if only the player who has the puck last can actually clear the puck more often than not, they wouldn't make things so difficult for our goaltenders.

Team is looking very solid. Now break that Stars winning streak on Saturday and keep the momentum going.

I agree on 4th line getting the goal. Clifford being as serious as he is, must have been stressing. I'm liking that so far, all lines have chipped in at these games. I am still in a bit of shock how well everything is coming together.

People are asking for real 3rd line rw and stuff, I think we're ok for now. I like the crew we have. I want much of our team to be home grown or had been in the system a bit.

Quick's GAA is now under 1 and he leads the lead in SV % and shutouts! Glad the main boards still don't think he's a top 10 goalie in the league.

Quick just looks so damn calm in the net at the moment. He is just saving pucks with minimal effort. I lol'd in the 2nd period when he was on his post and a Coyote took a sharp angle shot, Quick didnt even flinch, just let the puck hit him and bounce away without even moving

Disappointed Westgarth didnt get a star for the lols

I'm usually somewhat critical of him, but TM needs to get a share of the credit for how the team is playing. He's adjusted and opened things up a bit, allowing for much more aggression.

What impresses me the most is the backcheck and breakout. When the forwards are back checking and come up with the puck, they pass it back to the defensmen and pretty much turn and burn up the ice. I saw this several times tonight and it's leading to much quicker passing. Before the forwards would skate laterally for the outlet pass, now they are receiving the puck with speed.

The amount of turnovers this team can cause is also mind boggling. I haven't seen a consistently tenacious forecheck like this in a looooong time. They just keep pushing forward.

Another solid win all the way around. Quick was awesome and our 4th line finally clicked and was pretty strong on the puck. I'm happy to see Kopi extend his point streak, but was hoping Gagne and Willy would get points too, but no dice.

I was shocked at how bad Phoenix was at puck possession. Every time we tried to get the puck, they turned it over. It was insane. Does anyone know the giveaway totals for this game?
