Alright, no good books lately.
Anyone else realize the irony that the "Occupy" "99%" people from developed countries have lifestyles that 99% of the whole worlds population would kill for? God I'll bet you 99% all those starving in poor countries would easily trade places with those camping out on Wall Street/Other cities getting free food, clothes, using their ipad/pods.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty poor myself, and agree that wealth should be spread out, and I sort of agree with the general idea of the "movement," but I do find some form of irony that people still abide to these lines drawn in the sand. We're all people, we should be focused on helping the world, not just one "country." Countries, boundaries, they change, but human being are still human beings. These kids with Art degrees who could be living with their parents (most) but can't find high paying jobs, well that sucks. But the main focus should be on those literally starving to death. Until I see someone in North America who is so impoverished and cannot find a shelter or soup kitchen that they and their small children starve to death, I still find it mildly selfish.

As I said, I still think the wealth is not spread out enough, no one needs more than a million dollars to live comfortably, and that's all life should be. Live comfortably, make sure you're comfortable, but excess is just unnecessarily.

There is a lot I disagree about with the Occupy crowd.

They preach communal values that make it seem like they want a better world, when most of them just wish they were the 1%.

That is rough.

So I'm definitely going to fail my Computer Science class. There goes money saved up for 18 years just for me.

College...sucks.

Why are you failing? Is it something you can talk to your prof about?

In my experience, they're very understand and most will do whatever they can to help you get back on track.

I guess the concept of relative poverty seems totally crazy to you.

And I also feel "The Trees" would be apt for the Occupy situation.

I could get into why I am failing, but that wouldn't be too classy, I'm afraid.

But I will say my plan is to only take 3 courses next semester.

Anyone read this article where spector goes bananas on the entire Canucks fanbase?

And we'll hurry up. Because, of course, we wouldn't want you to get impatient and trash your downtown core or anything.

In the meantime, buy a soother. The whining and crying is killing us out here.

He mad.

He went a little over the top in his article though, a bit uncalled for imo.

Spector is as useless as Cox and Simmons. Complete wastes of time. Not sure why people read any of them.

What's uncalled for is the blind bashing of Luongo. He's right to some extent, he is a bit over the top, but the point he's making is completely true to the nth degree.
