Uh oh. Backup goalie. Definitely time to play like the Jets and not the Thrashers!

Goals by Burmi, Ladd and Jimmay!

Anyways on to the game, cannot wait. Gonna be a busy afternoon, first Bombers than Jets, loving it. Not going to make a prediction since that always turns out bad, but GO JETS GO!!

Wish I was going but this game got gobbled very fast in my draft.
good points Holden and I have know idea how TNSE will do "NOW" as far as development goes. Running a business as far away as St Johns with your main people now focused on the NHL is another complete kettle of fish than running an AHL team at the MTS centre with all hands on deck. Also Chevy is the GM now and might have a different philosophy for development. Also we are know longer developing Vancouver's picks and I am sure that will make a difference. The fact is we are starting all over with our AHL club in a new town so who knows how good we will be at focusing on getting our young guys appropriate minutes and what the balance will be between that and winning?

like you said we won't know for several years!

Huge game tonight and I like that Maxwell is in the line up but am also really looking forward to getting Hainsey back. I an with everyone else when i see Oduya Jones i cringe....then you throw in crazy Big Buff and his lack of focus and the recipe is a bit scary. we will need our forwards to play responsible and they will need to be back checking their a55's off tonight. total team effort and some magic from Pav's and away we go

I'm excited to see how Burmi does. He's been absolutely unreal for us lately.

I want to see this too. But, in order for it to happen we have to lower the minutes of either Ladd or Burmistrov. Or lower the minutes of our 4th line, which sadly has been one of our more consistent lines so far.

I predict an offensive explosion:

6-1 Jets

Goals: Little (WPG), Wheeler (WPG), MacLean (WPG), Scheifele (WPG), Byfuglien (WPG), Enstrom (WPG), Sutter (CAR)

We really need to take advantage of the fact the Canes are coming off an overtime game less than 24 hours ago. They probably didn't get to their hotel here until after 1 or 2 am.

Need a big start and we need to be the harder working team in the 3rd period.

Also, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez will be in the crowd so Skinner will probably feel a lot of pressure to perform.

Oh ****. If Oduya/Jones pairing is less than a combined -6, call me impressed. That makes me sick just looking at it.

If Scheifele does not have a good game today, I would not bother waiting any longer. Send him back. He had very good chemistry with Maxwell in pre-season, hopefully that carries over.

That would be true.

The oddest part is the fact that he is older than I.

In VAN you won't get it, it's on CBC Winnipeg. CBC streams the games, but they are of a very poor quality. Try atdhe.tv or just wait I guarantee someone in this thread will come through with a good quality stream closer to gametime.

i paid 200 bucks for center ice hoping I could watch all jets games but I find out that center ice doesnt show cbc games for fans outside the region which makes no freaking sense...i can understand the local blackouts for Canuck games but why the hell cant i watch the Jets game? the restrictions are ridiculous...and what really pisses me off is that cbc is funded by tax payers and i\m paying taxes for them to block my ability to watch a hockey game involving a Canadian hockey team.....its total BS. ...and so many jets games are on CBC on saturdays...and there is now way for people outside the jets region to watch any of them....instead they force you to watch some crappy online feed.

I completely agree, when a CBC game is not being shown nationally not sure why it would not be on center ice. I get that CBC is a national network, but when the game is only being shown locally it should for sure be on center ice.

Yes, I agree. How about anytime he serves up a pizza in a game he buys a pie for everyone in the arena the next home game.
LOL, I need a "Johnny where's my free pizza" sign.
