After midnight? Check.

Good job

Rolling up into St. Louis' hood,
Trust the Sabres, as they know what's good
Give ol Rolie the chase
With that egg on his face
Garon will start next, like he should.

Tampa Bay Lightning
"Big Three" approach won Cup, but
This isn't '04.

It's fair to say "Sabres lack a Stamkos,"
Perhaps the team has no great superstar,
But Vanek's on, and he's the best in close.
It's a crew whose sum is more than they are.
No "I" in team, no "give up" in their hearts,
They fight the good fight night in and night out.
Forget the past, this year the future starts
The destined path up to the title bout.
Raise your banners, your flags, and your glasses
Cheer for the Sabres 'til your lungs give out
On the Warpath, They'll kick some a****,
Turn out the lights in a Bolt-blasting rout!
Nostradamus, this fool poet is not...
(A 4-3 win, the Sabre boys stay hot.)

I don't have a good feeling about this game. They're 3-0 on the road trip already, so I'm satisfied win or lose.

I understand the superstition about the minimalism (even if I'm not superstitious myself), but I can't help but admire the badass GDTs put together by some of the other teams.

The Tampa one today is pretty cool looking.

Honestly though , i took this GDT because i saw it was vacant like 3 nights ago and wanted to make sure we had it up without confusion and early

I didn't mean to be critical.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the effort some of those other teams put into it, with the graphic design and everything.

I mean ultimately it doesn't matter as long as we have a place to discuss the game, and the basic information is there.

From the NHL.com preview of tonight's game:

Quote:
Injury Report: Center Jordan Hecht has yet to play for Buffalo due to preseason concussion, and center Paul Gaustad is day-to-day with a hip injury. … For the Lightning, defenseman Mattias Ohlund is out indefinitely after having surgery on both knees last week.

The Lightning allowed 23 goals during their five-game skid, and No. 1 goaltender Dwayne Roloson is currently sporting a 5.09 GAA -- he's also 0-7-1 lifetime against the Sabres.
Rolly has really never beaten the Sabres? Never knew...

I still remember the meltdown he had during the Sabres' 7-4 win over him last year. It was glorious.

Don't know what expect tonight.

Will we see the Sabres that played against the Habs or the team from Florida?
Will Tampa Play like they did versus the Islanders or will they suck like they did when they played the Cats?
