Hamrlik's frequency of penalties is starting to get worrying.

There go the wheels. Keep it together.

An Auger game can get loopy fast.

If anyone is going to take a seat when Erskine is healthy, it needs to be Hammer.

He's been fine, they just need to dial down his minutes some.

What stood out from that shift more was Green's poor positioning in the slot allowing Franzen to bull in to begin with.

Woo. More dumb.

Even though he played well on that ok, 100% lock of the week they were gonna score on that 5-3 with 55 the only D on ice.

Can't say I really fault the PK unit on that 5-3. They did a really good job controlling them, but you can't hold off that unit forever.

its 3-1 and the wings havent threatened 5-on-5 or 5-on-4 in a while. calm down. its not nhl 12, you cant just blow everyone out when you want to. the other guys are pretty good, too.

get out of this period up 2 and they'll close it down in the 3rd. hard work, thats all - doing a fine job so far.

There is zero consistency in this officiating. He put his whistle away after giving the Caps three pps when Detroit was getting very very careless with their sticks, and now he's calling everything one-sided.
