Given the main topic of discussion this morning, I'm afraid that the lowest I've felt about this team is still yet to happen....
I said this below on 10/22.

I think it still gets worse before it gets better. JPMc & Co. need to make some serious decisions on this matter and soon. And this time please do it right.
I'm just not that depressed with this start. I know its god awful and its going to be tough making the playoffs, but I'm still very optimistic about this team overall, but then again, wth do I know.
No, my lowest point was last season at the home Pittsburgh game watching their fans ride our zamboni and spit on people while the Jackets got wrecked on the ice.
And when you think that they have hit rock bottom they keep finding new ways to disappoint. Today I am ready to sell the rest of my season tickets and call it quits on the team.
The last hundred fans the Blue Jackets had left were arrested tonight for breaking into Nationwide Arena to begin packing the team for their new home... Who would want them at this point??
Tonight is not a low point... it was a beginning. I have to believe Howson will be fired sometime within the next 36 hours. Tonight was simply the remaining moments before the sun peaked over the eastern horizon and begins to rise gloriously to begin a new day.
I have to come out of lurking to say this 9-2 Flyers drubbing may be the lowest point as a fan in a long-term perspective. That Penguins "home" game made me feel completely helpless for four hours, but until there are serious changes to the roster, front office, Bob Dawson, etc. I will continue to have a sinking feeling in my stomach; like a girlfriend broke up with me.
I gotta say something folks... I REALLY feel for you guys who've been fans of this team since the beginning. I've only been a CBJ / NHL fan for 3-4 years now (I always rooted for them from afar, but since I didn't care about hockey it never used to matter). I've been a long-suffering fan of the Cleveland teams for 35 years and even the Browns teams of the last 10 years can't match the sheer, long-standing incompetence of this franchise. The only thing that matches it is the Dwight Clark years with the Browns, and the only thing that trumps it is the Stepien years with the Cavs. Those periods only lasted a few years, though, not the entire history of their respective franchises.
No team in the country owes its fans a winner more than the CBJ does.
I think Columbus can be a great hockey market, but no market can flourish with a franchise like this.
This franchise is a disgrace, and nothing but a full housecleaning will do.
Without systemic change at the top by cutting off the head of the snake, this problem will just continue to repeat itself. If Mike Priest remains as the President you can bet we will see another situation like this within 4 to 5 years....

I think we should form #OccupyNationwide until the owners allow this board's Mods to manage the team. We can't possibly do any worse...
