After watching him these last 2 games I have to say I'm very impressed. He looks great out there for his age. I've watched RNH play a few times this year and I think the oil lost out on this one.

It is early to choose between the 2. But Landeskog was the best player on the Avs (outside the goalie, who was excellent) both games.

Completely different kind of players. RNH plays like Kaner and Landeskog plays like Toews.

I HATTTTE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

But for serious, GG.

Hawks had that locked up, until Keith and Brunette decided to bend us over. Then of course, we go AWOL in the SO like the hawks always do.

Only assumption is that he has proven himself and Q now wants to give Stalberg more minutes to get his game "back" (?) or "there" or something??? idk. Carcillo has been a great fit and I hope he is put back onto that second line. Q needs to learn to leave things be when they work out.

Everybody's ripping on Stalberg, Leddy, Keith etc. for this goal that goal...how about Crawford making a save when it mattered the most. He got burned by a rookie with less than 2 minutes left in the game, gave up a **** goal on the second one and had his jock handed to him by Lindstrom in the SO. I want to see our goalie steal a game "Lundquist like" some time soon. I didn't watch the whole game but I thought Crawdaddy could have played better from what I saw.

The only bright spot was coming back from 3-1, getting the point and that the Wings had their ***** handed to them tonite as well.

Great game as always between us .

Your annoncers in Thursday (FS Hawks) were epic:

McLeod, McClement... Like we play in Dublin, ha ha ha.

It's great to see non-homer broadcasters as they are rare .

It's very rare that Brunette screw up against us. He's our killer .

Looking positive: took 3 of 4 from the hottest team in the league. Tied for 1st (albeit a game down, but **** it).
Points in six straight games since opening day loss. Still disturbing to see the defensive breakdowns that lead to goals and we're taking a knife to the shootout, but overall good start. Better start than SJ, Boston, and Vancouver.

Foley and Eddie O are homers

Mcleod, McClement, O'Reilly, O'Brian and O'Byrne
got to love your team and the Names

I hope we will meet each other in the POs. Always good games to watch.

Landeskog is a beast and he will bring you a Cup in the next 10 years.

I liked what I saw for 40 Minutes. the 1st period was boring and not good from both teams. I take the 3 Pts against this hot team and I would prefer to face the Wings over them. Varly is for real. Crawford wasn't bad, he is a Goalie that gives you the chance to win, not steal you a game. and 92% SV isn't that bad either.

Start Emery against the team that took Ellis and JDD over him. Keith and Leddy with a good game again. Just don't know why Stalberg and Brunette were with Tazer. Want to see these lines in the next game
Stalberg - Toews - Hossa
Sharp - Kane - Brunette
BiBoFro
Carcillo - Krüger - Mayers

and our 4th Line plays great hockey. Doesn't give up goals and keep the puck in the offensiv zone.

I'm about as big a stalberg fan as there is and I thought he had a pretty bad game, especially in the first period. And still, he was inexplicably given more and more shifts. Q needs to chill with all the line juggling, he's turning into one of those shifty baseball managers who overmanages the BP and defensive replacements.

.

Reminds me of the Kopecky-Johnson-Stalberg line from last year.

does this team even practice shootouts? They look like they have never gone one on one with a goalie in their lives every time we are in a shootout while the other teams shooters actually have a plan. Kind of a big deal when it could get you an extra 8-10 points per season.

best example is Sharp. During a game he is money in the bank on a breakaway.

We should have had this one in regulation. Tons of stupid breakdowns, but we got a point, and I'm happy enough about that. Games like this one are bound to happen over the course of an 82 game season.

don't forget that the Avs started hot into the season. 3 out of 4 Points isn't bad

They're homers to an extent, but they aren't obnoxious about it. They're not cheerleaders. They're not afraid to criticize their own players and point out negative aspects of their own team, be it mistakes, lack of effort, etc. They also will give positive statistics about opposing teams and their players, and will praise them when it's applicable. What's best is they don't harp on the refs and calls/lack of calls. They'll make their comment about it when it happens and move on. A lot of broadcasts will never drop it,and keep bringing up and whining about lack of calls and essentially blame the refs.

They might be homers in that they obviously want the Hawks to win, but they aren't blind cheerleaders and their broadcast stays the same whether the Hawks are winning or losing. They don't pout and get all quiet when things aren't going their way.

I think Foley definitely is a homer, but Olcyzk definitely felates other teams players more then he does ours.
