When Elias scored it was like they put up a fire in the whole Penguin teams collective *****. From that point there was one team on the ice. That's how you answer to **** happening to you. i did not see that on the Devils partly because they were too gassed, but anyway.

While I do usually agree with this sentiment, there is something to be taken away from both wins and losses. Take SJ, for instance. Yeah, they aren't off to the best start in the world, but they've looked pretty damn good in every loss. They've put up a ton of shots, and the D loos solid.

So basically, had the Devils had a losing record but been very good in the losses and maybe just a bit unlucky, I'd have no problem with someone saying it's not as bad as it looks (as I imagine many others would too). As such, I have no problem with someone thinking it's worse than it looks for wins.

This team will really miss YaYo, and really, really, really miss Zajac.

This board is unbearable. We could be 1-2-3 but we are 3-2-1. We could also be 4-2-0 if that last minute goal against San Jose didn't happen but guess what it did and they are 3-2-1.

What did you expect this team to be running out of the gates under a new coach and system. I remember so many of you saying give it 10-15 games see where they stand after that but people are already calling this Maclean era Devils, there needs to be a trade etc. Calm down. It is what it is.

I think Greene has been fairly good thus far. And Fayne has quietly done his job well..

Remember that greene is also being asked to pair with an 18 year old rookie. He does not have an easy job right now, but he's preforming admirably.

But the fact that we were down almost the entire game, on the road on back to back nights and still were able to tie the score up in the 3rd is encouraging.

The problem is Kovalchuk still is the only player on the team who is sick of losing and nobody steps up or follows him or leads by example.

Game 1 - the Flyers are the better built squad and it showed
Game 2 - we played a good game and scored
Game 3 - the only reason we DIDNT win in regulation/OT was LA's goalie
Game 4 - the only reason we DIDNT win in regulation was a terrible 90s on the PK
Game 5 - we got a point we didn't deserve
Game 6 - we got our ***** handed to us by a better team

We have to beat the teams we should (all non-playoff teams from last year) and steal points whenever we can (like the Sharks game).

Getting 3pts out of 6 would be great on the road and 4 of 6 would be incredible.

THERE ARE 76 GAMES LEFT. If you want to jump off the ledge, just get it over with.

are u ****ing kidding me.. ive been watching him for 2 years.. tell me that you think he legitimately earns his contract. He has no skill, hes just a grenade handler and you know that.. put your devils love to the side and realize that andy greene doesnt bring anything to this team. i know this is a foreign concept but, you know, other teams defenseman actually score goals and make plays. andy greene, does not. do. anything. he makes 3 million dollars for failing. TELL me that there arent 30 other defenseman in this league that do the SAME thing as him while making half his bills. just watch another 5 games and tell me you do not agree. EARN YOUR ****ING MONEY OR GTFO.. come on man.. let me know when andy green does something.

PS. Hank and larsson pairing now. please
