Learning to Win
Snipe by The Nuge, then a goal on a Corey power Potter play.
Huge game by Khabibulin as well.
The difference between winning and losing in this league is miniscule. Nice that Renney took a different route tonight.
Discuss.

The best part was the Rangers fans thinking this would be an easy win because that horrible Potter/Power guy was playing top 4. I keep waiting for him to **** up and he just doesn't do it. Too good to be true.

We are officially the new Minnesota of the northwest, with the exception of a few snipers !

Was really going to lose it if we squandered ANOTHER third period lead.
What's that, only TEN goals allowed in 7 games? Impressive.

He's exceeding every expectation I had of him, in almost every facet of the game. The pessimist in me wants to chalk it up to youthful enthusiasm, and I'd love to be proven wrong.

Hopefully, Hemsky can get back ASAP and jumpstart the offence because the D is impressing the heck out of me.

It's probably because it's his contract year, but it's hard to argue against starting Khabibulin next game...

Potter's been great all season.
Oilers playing incredible defensive hockey all season too. Gone are the gong shows in our zone except with the kids. Every offseason addition has helped - Smyth, Belanger, Lander, etc.
