He's 6'6" easily. I stand at 6'4" and when i met him he easily had 2 inches on me. He also looks much taller than Gudbranson, who is 6'4". Not to mention he wears Bauer pads, which are notorious for taking up a ton of net. He's the prototype for a goaltender in the new NHL
I also agree with Panteras - he isn't our starter (yet) but he is making it reallll difficult to insert Clemmer back into the lineup.
Markstrom deserves another couple "looks" before Clemmer comes back. I don't want to rush him either, but I also don't want him babied. If he's ready to play in the NHL, keep him up here. Try and get something for Clemmer (who needs a goalie?)
I wouldn't go that far on naming him the start over Theodore after four periods, but I am very impressed with what I've seen so far. I'm very glad to hear that he's starting tomorrow night in Montreal. After his play in the 3rd period last night, I'd say he certainly deserves the playing time, especially against a extremely struggling Habs team. I'd really like to see him stay as the backup when Clemmensen comes back and rival Theodore for the starting job as the season goes on. I think we just need to see more of him than just 1 1/3 games in the this season to really make a determination on what his fate will be for the remainder of the season.
If Markstrom gets good playing time while Clemmensen is out and proves himself, I could see us maybe trading Clemmensen to a goalie desperate team around the deadline. He's in the last year of his contract right?

Columbus right now. Mason has started every game because Sanford is out with injury and they don't want to put in there young prospect. Their record is 0-7-1 so they aren't looking so hot right now and may be looking to make a change?
