Fine, I'll give you 6'5 but that's it.
I'm 6'4 and he wasn't taller than me a year and a half ago.

He hasn't won the starting job yet but he sure as hell has done great as a backup and clemmensen is becoming obsolete every time Markie steps into the ice

Have you considered you may be shrinking?

This.

Are any teams in need of poor goal tending? I'd love to see Clemmer get shipped out of here. Never have been a fan of his..

No I'm 20 yrs old...... I give up on this height discussion... He's a big guy. Period.

BUT before I lay down and die and ask for forgiveness I just want to point out that eliteprospects.com has him at 6'4

Panthers have him listed at 6'6 and that would be based upon his camp physical.

Eliteprospects have me at 81kg although I've been 83-84kg for over a year now.

So you just can't trust that site.

Seriously though, he's big. That's it. 6'5 or 6'6 or whatever.

He's 6'6" easily. I stand at 6'4" and when i met him he easily had 2 inches on me. He also looks much taller than Gudbranson, who is 6'4". Not to mention he wears Bauer pads, which are notorious for taking up a ton of net. He's the prototype for a goaltender in the new NHL

I'm 5'4"... just sayin'

I also agree with Panteras - he isn't our starter (yet) but he is making it reallll difficult to insert Clemmer back into the lineup.

Markstrom deserves another couple "looks" before Clemmer comes back. I don't want to rush him either, but I also don't want him babied. If he's ready to play in the NHL, keep him up here. Try and get something for Clemmer (who needs a goalie?)

Oh yeah? I'm 7'7" and he looked rather short when I saw pictures of him.

Seriously -- it's awesome to have Markstrom play well. Competition never hurt anyone. Next thing you know, Theo will be making regular save highlights on ESPN.

I'm between 5'11" and 7'1" and Markstrom looked a little shorter or taller than me. I'm telling you guys, he's HUGE! No lying.

I wouldn't go that far on naming him the start over Theodore after four periods, but I am very impressed with what I've seen so far. I'm very glad to hear that he's starting tomorrow night in Montreal. After his play in the 3rd period last night, I'd say he certainly deserves the playing time, especially against a extremely struggling Habs team. I'd really like to see him stay as the backup when Clemmensen comes back and rival Theodore for the starting job as the season goes on. I think we just need to see more of him than just 1 1/3 games in the this season to really make a determination on what his fate will be for the remainder of the season.

Columbus right now. Mason has started every game because Sanford is out with injury and they don't want to put in there young prospect. Their record is 0-7-1 so they aren't looking so hot right now and may be looking to make a change?

And it's Alex Auld for Montreal, so no reason to loose.
