Hey guys, about to order a new Lightning jersey to New Zealand. I'm slightly confused as to which blue is more like the actual jerseys the team wears. NHL.com has navy and royal blue jerseys available. Any ideas or opinions as to which is more authentic?

Sorry about posting it in this thread, didn't know where else to post it.

That's the one I got as a season ticket member from the Lightning and it's darker. The bottom color you posted is too light it seems

Make sure you get a C or an A on those example numbers if you're getting a numbered / named jersey.

Sure will, NHL.com is only letting me get St.Louis in the right color.. I wanted a Stamkos or Gudas jersey.

Already have a St.Louis Jersey

Had a great visit to Tampa and the game experience at Tampa was great. Had a lot of fun at the Tampa game on Saturday night when my jets were in your town. I will be be back. Tampa fans said Hi to us, welcomed us to their city and arena,High fived me a few times and telling me they loved my original jets 1.0 jersey with tons of Jets 1,0 and 2.0 autographs on it. Actually had one guy and his buddy in bolts jerseys come up to me and told me I had the coolest jersey in the building that night. I also asked a guy about the beer cooler thingy they put on the 24 OZ cans and asked him how much they were. He said 5 bucks each when you buy a king can beer. Well at the end of the game he came up to me and gave me his beer can cooler as a gift to take back to Winnipeg with me. I have been to 5 NHL arenas so far and Tmaps has to be 1 of my favorite to attend. Classy organization and classy fans. Unlike our experience in Ft Lauderdale at Jets/panthers game. Team entertainment staff were morons and many of the fans were idiots. Thanks Tampa for a great time

There are plenty of spots to eat and get some drinks around The Forum. Channelside (about 1/4 mile down the road from the Forum, easy walk) has restaurants and bars. South Howard has tons of bars and is a 5 minute cab ride away. Ybor is like a 10 minute cab ride and has tons of night life.

In The Forum, food and a couple of beers will run you between 20 and 30 bucks per person.

Oh, I haven't heard anything like that. It's certainly not in The Forum, had a beer downstairs while watching the post game show and it was definitely not $1

Hey,

I'm going to Florida in March and going to Dunedin at one point during our stay for Spring Training. What are some of the best resorts/hotels to stay at in Dunedin or surrounding area? Thanks

Hi all,

I'm new to the boards. I will be visiting family in Florida and I'm thinking of going to the game on 2/8/14 but have never been to the Forum and had a question I haven't seen answered yet:

Can fans go near ice level to watch the warm ups even if their seat is not down there?

Thanks in advance!

Safe walk around the arena?

We are planning on staying at the Sheraton Riverwalk, which doesn't look to be too far from the arena. I'll be attending the game with my children, so after the game is it generally a safe walk from the rink back to the hotel?

Yes, walk is short and right through populated areas. You have to venture pretty far off to be in the generally "un-safe" parts of Tampa

I came to this thread to ask the same question. Hotwire booked me at the Hilton and I was wondering how safe of a walk it is to a from the hotel at night. We will be attending the Lightning game against the Flyers on April 10th, after our cruise.

I don't have any reason to believe you won't be safe. I've done late night walks around the Forum area and I haven't run into any trouble.
