Agreed on all counts here, I'd rather be starting Pavs but Mason played well. Those goals were not Pavs fault, but it was obviously a very effective wake-up call as we rolled with 5 unanswered goals at that point. I also agree with liking to see a healthy goalie competition which will push them both to perform each and every start. Also, nice GDT, I am thinking Kane/Antro/Burmi is best (but I wonder if Welly gets lost in the shuffle.), and Slater will be missed. Also, Go Jets Go!
Does this board frown upon posting if you just regurgitate what everyone has already said in the thread and have nothing of real value to add on your own?
Hmmm. What are the chances Noel goes lozenge-less tonight? Do the odds change if we get a win streak going?
The current template is about half of what I would like to see, it is a work in progress for when I get some time
Can anybody provide any links for these rumoured roster moves? I have found a couple sources saying McArdle is unlikely to play, some say he will likely play, lots of speculation about goaltending nothing concrete. For now I am leaving the lines as is (McArdle out, Pavs starting, Jones in) until I am shown/I find something solid proving me otherwise.
Ken Wiebe pretty much outlined it all.
He confirmed the Mason start, and the lineups.
Maxwell moves into Slaters spot and it looks like that line will be our 3rd. The 4th line will be interesting to watch with Stapes-Welly-McArdle.
am I missing why Mcardle is playing at all? i had just assumed he would be sent down as soon as he was healthy.
seems like we have better options
You are not the only one. There is at least 4-5 players I would rather see in that spot. I liked the trade when it was made since Esposito is useless and I remember liking McArdle back when he was in juniors, but after watching him in pre-season when he did play, he is a small grinder without alot of speed. Does not add much of anything, IMO.
Need to kick the Rangers while they are down. They aren't that good, especially with their superstar goalie sitting on the bench tonight.
Biron is like Boucher, capable of looking like a good goalie but really, not very good at all.
The Rangers really should be waking up as after tonight the schedule softens up and we're home for six straight. Without Staal and Sauer though, the defense can be exploited for sure. But this is a team that'll fight for home ice. You're catching us at the right time though.
As for the lineup, Wolski's back tonight so EC is sitting.
Biron's been nothing short of outstanding since coming here, so that couldn't be more inaccurate.
