helmet cage help

i used to use visor, but now playing more shinny and adult leagues,I think its best to use full cage,i find there's to many idiots raising the puck near my head and sticks get up, any how the reason im writing this im currently using a black bauer cage, but curious how much better other cages are and if its worth upgrading,,

ive been hearing chrome and oval is the way to go,

here are some of the cages ive been looking at,

-CCM 480 CHROME HOCKEY CAGE
$44.99

-BAUER 9900 OVAL HOCKEY CAGE

-Itech RBE III Silver Wire Cage
$34.99

id really like better visual.

if it really only makes a slight difference then i'll stick to black cage, i just upgrade when the cage rusts,

thanks

The ccm480 cage is great, got it in the summer and I've been loving it since.

I recently upgraded to a CCM480 chrome.. I was using a black cage for 10 or so years before on my old helmet.. Transitioning to the chrome was a breeze.. I like it and it looks spiffy but I would say its only a slight difference from my older cage

I used the 480 for a long time. It is a good cage. If you are looking for something with better visuals upgrade to the high-end bauer. The matte chrome isn't distracting and the bars near the eyes are actually elliptically shaped, so the look flat as you look out of the cage. It is also really light.

I'm a big fan of the 9900 cage. I need to get a new one as my current cage is too small and apparently I didn't realize it until this year.

I recommend the Bauer 9900. I have been using it for a while and it is a very good cage as far as weight and vision.

My previous cage was the Jofa 480, and it is also very good. The vision is slightly better on the 9900, but I doubt you would notice once you start playing. I had them both out yesterday, and the 9900 was also lighter.

The 480 is a great cage, here's my full review. I haven't tried the 9900, but from what I remember it was a little pricey.

Will a Bauer 9900 fit on my Easton S9.

By the way did anyone see the flat black helmets Easton is coming out with in 2012? They look pretty slick.
