CBJ Re-signs Cody Bass (One-Year, Two-Way)

Nothing fancy, but he seemed to be a good guy to have in the system. Two-way deal.

Off season = done.

Good for Bass. I don't dislike him. Seems a bit of a journeyman, but DM was one for a while as well. Figured out his role.

And there's our 14th forward.

He did okay while he was uninjured. Don't mind having him back at all.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

First off I would like to say it was a rough season for the bluejackets ( as you all know). I'm an Ottawa senators fan, but I feel like this organization is going to be a huge surprise next season. I feel they have made some good moves and it's only going to get better. ( they need to keep nash)

I was always a bass fan and I continue to follow him, I'm happy to see him get another deal with you guys. Class act guy and a great teammate from what I hear. He's a great 4th line player for you guys. I believe he proved that, he took a beating for that team since day 1 in camp and continued to do it until his surgery. Not sure if you Guys know he played with a is located shoulder for a month before his season endin surgery, not to mny guys would do that anymore. Heart and soul.

I'll be following this organization this summer as SH is a possible big seller and has a lot of control and a lot to offer.

I think this spells the end of Boyce.

Seriously, I think it's a good depth signing and adding character guys is a good thing.

I almost read that as Two Year, One Way and almost came into this thread guns blazing.

Yeah, whatever. Good energy player, not a player that will win or lose you many games either way.

If he continued to play instead of getting hurt I'd put money on it that he wold have even giving a one-way deal. He's not suppose to win you games. Or else he would be making a lot of money
